Well they could be problems for the Xmas shop

What HAS this country become? I know we have to respect the Islamic religion but come on, this person is employed by a store in a once-Christian country that sells items that are forbidden within that religion..................so why apply for a job there in the first place??? M&S have done the decent thing and apologised, taking the blame for not putting the employee in a 'suitable' department. IMO if an individual wishes to work for a company then they are fully obliged to carry out any task required of them. Wouldn't we all like to pick & choose our daily duties?! Had he/she been told to serve the customer with the heinous bottle of champagne, no doubt there would have been a costly lawsuit against M&S within hours for religious discrimination. I wonder if he/she will refuse the part of their salary that comes from the sale of alcohol & pork? -
Thanks Kes....

I've been given a red wine kit by a client but it's for a dry variety. Silly question maybe but is there a way I can take it to a medium/lighter taste?

Cheers olly! As each day passes I get a bit more confident!!!

Cheers happy! As it's a Co car, methinks a quick e-mail to HR is in order.....

As title really. I'm looking for any RFD's or clubs that stock Winchester 24 or 28 shells. I know Just Cartridges sell them but I'd prefer not to 'nip to' Oxford, and wonder if I can get them closer to the West Mids to save on carriage......

Are you serious??? So you don't mind going to work everyday and paying your taxes to fund these 'people'? They don't pay a penny in Income Tax NOR Council Tax, and every penny they get is cash. When they eventually leave a site that they've illegally occupied, guess who pays for the clean-up afterwards? YOU!!! Or if it isn't you, it's the poor sod that owns the land. They all seem to drive top-end cars and tow luxury caravans that Average Joe can only dream of owning. They have absolutely ZERO regard for the law and live just how they want to live - everyone else can just **** off. Either you know very little about these lowlifes or you are THE most forgiving/laid back individual on the planet. Great idea!!!!!

Some US politician has used cocaine. Now some Co-op Bank Chairman has been filmed (by The Angelic, Upstanding Daily Mail no less!) buying drugs. So what? Even as an aging Grumpy Old Man, I can see that drug taking is an inherent part of daily life, so why all the fuss???!!! Teens use them in clubs on a weekly basis and no-one bats an eyelid. Someone in authority gets rumbled and everyone loses their minds!!

Well after months of "I must get round to doing it" - I finally got round to doing it. I cancelled Sky TV. Just about had enough of paying for something that's essentially free, plus I dislike Murdoch et al rather a lot. I've got a Freesat box that will pay for itself in 5 months however the satisfaction of not giving ol' Rupey any more of my hard earned pennies is worth just as much. When asked why I wanted to cancel the account I replied that 'I don't want to pay to watch TV anymore'. The Eton-educated, bright young thing at the other end then went silent and proceeded to offer me a discount of £8 per month. I had to bite my tongue really hard . Anyway, 10 minutes later and after hearing Ms Bimbo reply to my EVERY sentence with 'That's absolutely fine', she confirmed it all stops on December 17.

Oh please, is this the latest Lads from Lagos effort?! Delete, delete and delete again.

PAL however I did try RGB after your earlier post, but with no difference. *EDIT* I've just adjusted the Horizontal Picture Width on the TV by a few mm's and it's ok now. This is more 'forced' however and not as a result of adjusting the settings. Bit of a mystery why it happened in the first place..... Thanks for your help bud!

Have you inputted your email settings correctly? That error message is when it can't connect to your email providers server. They need to be character-perfect Also, as Pegasus says - can you look at web pages ok? If not then you have a data connection problem that needs sorting first.

I think the issue lies with the fact that I still have a much-adored 36" CRT which doesn't have a true 16:9 ratio option. It has Wide, 14:9, Subtitles, 4:3, Super Live and Cinema. It's not a problem as it doesn't affect the actual viewing - I'm just more curious. Thanks for the replies chaps!

I'm just researching Freesat boxes - I'm sick of paying to watch telly.
