  1. Two year same ago had a new boiler installed, old one used to be a back boiler behind a old fire in the sitting room.  New boiler moved upstairs into airing cupboard so some new pipes, flue up into attic and outside, 3 days, two sons and then dad, they were there 3 days and he was there for 2 and the last day towards the end.  Very tidy, very clean, cleared up after themselves every night.  Was happy to pay £4,500.  The dad and one son just been back for this year’s service - spent just over 3 hrs for £89.  They aren’t happy with the output, they rang the manufacturer to make an appointment for me, just had a message to say engineer will be here tomorrow between 8 and 8.30 to change whatever thing they aren’t happy with as it’s under warranty.

Is it saving passwords on other websites? Have you tried:

    Open the Settings app
Scroll down and tap on Safari
We're looking to change password store settings. So tap on Passwords & Autofill.
You should notice that there's a switch labelled “Always Allow” – Turn it ON

Back onto topic - there was a dip in posts in the first few days after the update, but things are building back up nicely again now, as others have said probably to be expected with things moving round and getting used to the layout. :)

Thank you, when I muster the strength I will do that.  It may be coincidence but another site updated recently and I have had trouble there too.

It must be something you have done?

i use my iPad and it never asks me to log in?

Lights up on my home page.....strange

Quite possibly something I have done its just remembering what I have done is the problem.

  4. They don't issue S7s anymore. The protocol was changed (last year?) so that you can now keep your guns up to 8 weeks after the expiry date of the certificate, as long as the application was made 'in good time' (generally taken to be 8 weeks before the expiry date). If it was made in less time than that you'll need to take them to an RFD or sign them onto a friends certificate.

Is that in your area or throughout UK? I don’t want to be a doubting Thomas but I haven’t heard anybody else say that.

  5. Interesting in this as my forms arrived two weeks ago and my license runs out in February.

I have plenty of cartridges so Im not worried.

Any idea how long it will take fir my renewal

Unfortunately I think it’s like asking how longs a piece of string. So much difference around the UK in time taken and it goes from “they didn’t visit just called and renewed licence arrived a week later” to “Ive been waiting a year for renewal”and everything in between. In my case this year they sent my renewal letter approx 3 months before it ran out, the visit was roughly just over 4 weeks before it ran out and the certificate arrived about 10 or so days before it ran out - Met Police. I think the general rule is get it in before the time limit they state they need to renew so they at least cannot say you were late putting in for renewal.

  6. Make sure to visit the two stands at the 'bottom' too -- they is no signage, and I've discovered well after a year that there was a path downhill in front of the clubhouse leading to more stands!

AGL is also my favourite in that area. Didn't like A1. A.C Sporting is pretty good, but not pay-as-you-go. I also shoot at E.J churchill because it's near my office, but frankly I never feel welcome there, even as I member. if' you are a VIP they'll be all over you tho.

Buze has it been a while since you went there because down the bottom there is now more than 2 stands - they built a wooden platform. You should do the registered Sporting there, once a month coming up next Friday.

  7. I do live in London suburbia and I will always take a black cab, I feel safer. I don't have confidence in Uber's checks on their drivers. I like the traditional hackney cab, I like the fact the drivers have done "the knowledge". I also have a fondness for the hackney cab driver who took pity on me when I was a teenager in London, having lost my money and scared ****less in the dark who drove me home safe and never charged me.

  8. Sian, Are you sure about the Welsh qualification? I thought Grandparents could be taken into account ? I have a friend who shot for Wales and as far as I recall he only worked in Wrexham, maybe he used his work address ?

If you would like three Lions on your badge , come and shoot for Shropshire :)

Thanks for the offer but I shoot for Greater London. My grandparents were not Welsh unfortunately. My family home address is still in Wales as my parents are there. Anyway I have in the past emailed the Welshing version of CPSA and they have never responded to me.

  9. You did very well on those targets, keep it up and i'm sure there will be a three lions badge for you soon. from Auntie.

    :good::yes:

Thank you Auntie but even if there were a chance of shooting for country I would want to shoot for Wales but I'm not allowed as I was born in England to parents born in England and I didn't marry a Welshman. My family home is in Wales and I grew up there and that is where my heart is but that's not enough plus I'm not good enough. I can claim English, Irish and Scottish heritage but the one that matters isn't there :(

  10.

You did better than an awful lot, not too shabby for someone who hates driven. Hopefully that has brought confidence.

Work in progress as so many different types of driven and for that matter teal which is the other nemesis. Just got to keep practising and remembering what technique to use for which and of course keep building in confidence.

  11. There was not a great deal of technique on that driven midi, pick the line, swing through hard, pull the trigger and hope to see it break. A splatty wad 9 was the load of choice with 2 kills.

On the Sunday they had a 70mm driven target, a very different animal as it started fast, but slowed quickly. Caught very many people out who gave it too much. I missed the first one in front and thankfully nailed the last 3.

I would second that as my technique for driven is haphazard at best. Although I killed it one shot, 7.5, half choke and smashed the three out of four. I missed the first one as it took me a bit by surprise as is often the way with me. The Sunday one, I managed 2.

  12. HI Cat, we shot it on Thursday but there was not a sign up then, otherwise i would have been a good girl. i knew i would never be quick enough to hit them as driven so i took the easy option but still missed them all. from Yer Auntie.

No sign Friday but was told to take them as driven and got 3 a miracle.
