  1. Hi - really interested in the Skeet/Skeet 2/Cyl - I have a Blaser with the Briley Spectrum, do you know if these are interchangeable? Cheers Pete
  2. Let me know if you have one you don't want Cheers Pete
  3. Fast and Loud - best of the motoring ones I think
  4. I've only had it done once - as part of the sale, certainly complete fettling in under a week, including RFD transfer time. I'd say give him a call - I've heard of him doing quite chunky work while people wait/watch Pete
  5. Ian has serviced mine - it's where I got it from, top notch bloke and incredibly thorough, he does all the Blaser warranty work - worth giving him a call Pete
  6. Another vote for the F3, had mine about 6 weeks - just a superb bit of kit, stock is off getting modified to fit can't wait! Back on topic, all guns are mechanical - so maybe should get it checked out, but I did think this wasn't possible on the Blaser Pete
  7. Hi - and Welcome My wife and I are in Bedford and shoot clays at Sporting Targets at least once a week, feel free to drop a pm if you need some company Pete
  8. Just to add - Robert at Blaser UK has been absolutely superb to me, couldn't be more helpful. I'd really recommend dropping him a line, love the gun too!
  9. i know Krieghoff regularly run come and try it days, where you can work through all the different options and run through the fit there. Ed Solomons has a hand in organising them, quick google should get you in contact with him Cheers Pete
  10. For anyone interested in this - I can really recommend the book Sniper One by Dan Mills, tells the story of a siege in Iraq from the point of view of a British sniper, cracking read!
  11. Hi Not a rude question at all. We bought a new Silver Pigeon from our local dealer, they had an unused spare stock in their bits drawer that we bought for (from memory) £100 - getting it cut down ( a lot to 12.75 LOP), new recoil pad and cast on the stock changed - that cost around £150 We were lucky that the dealer had a spare stock that he was looking to get rid of (it had a lot of cast on it so would be difficult to offload) Pete
  12. Second vote for just getting another stock and hacking it about We've done that on my wife's Silver Pigeon, means that when we sell it you don't have to sell it to someone similarly small - and also saves warranty issues P
  13. I think they're a really nice gun, only shot the demo - but felt very nice, stock fitted me very well and a good balance. For my taste - just too expensive, £5k just seemed a bit too much - firstly in relation to the other models and also to their competition. £5k is putting you in the new Blaser, Perazzi MXS etc - or used Perazzi, Krieghoff etc and for me it was a bit out of the idea price point if that makes sense. I ended up with a Blaser F3 which felt for me a little more 'special', but the RF is a superb gun and for a grand cheaper - I may well have been tempted
  14. Just one thing to add, not sure where you are - but Sporting Targets in North Beds have had an ultralight with a cut down stock for sale for a long time, used If that's anywhere near - you could demo and maybe try a low offer. P
