Don't want to get into the debate about trophy hunting.
The 1st thing that stood out for me during sky's report this morning was the so called professional hunter.?
Walking through the bush with a shotgun, at no time did I see it broken ?
At one point Carrying it closed and over his shoulder
You carry a gun like that on a shoot you would be kicked off .

Watched pigeon flighting onto rape stubble today , the combine was still on it cutting

Was shooting drilled wheat although there was a hell of a lot of beans still left on top from the harvest

yes not been to bad of late,
hell of a lot of birds about at the moment but when they turn up they are in big flocks and very high.
trying to get them to decoy has been fun lots just flying by
taking no notice but then it only takes one to take an interest
and another will follow , a lot have been young birds

I've shot the same drilled wheat field twice in a Week, 31 the 1st day and 43 yesterday.
Both times I was set up by 10am but hardly pulled the trigger before 13:30, and packed up by 15:30

One of my farmers told me today he hasn't planted any rape,

a chap I know is thinking of selling his Browning B10 3 shot semi.
he has a hush power silencer fited to it and it is in very good condition for age.
he used to be an apprentice at BSA and has reblued and serviced the gun regular .
anyone know what it migh be worth?
I've asked him to take some pictures for me

Have been debating with myself for a while if to get a semi auto?
Have seen a benelli SBE advertised that I'm going to look at tomorrow.
Would just like some guidance are they ok? And is there another semi auto to consider ?
