June fish are fantastic, I have lost 3 fish so far that would have easily chalanged my PB .

If you yanked your hand into a treble hook as hard as a sea trout took

You would be down A&E having it surgicaly removed lol

I have set myself a size limit this season.

Anything over 5lb goes back .

this one was on the nose so kept for the pot.

Caught 2 others the same night appro 4&3lb both returned .

 

A few years ago I caught a ten pound sea trout I killed it and regretted it ever since flesh was ****.

My thoughts were better off in the Reds to spawn.

Hi

I have a as new, in that it's was mounted to an air riffle but never used out side because of aventual sale of gun.

 

Anyway it's a Tracer ledrey 100

Comes in original box, also selling it with pressure switch and rechargeable battery 18650 senybor ( charger not included)

The other torch is ultra creed red led with atmospheric lens.

Both have mounts on although one has the screw device missing the other a couple of the bolts.

(Spare or repare?)

Are Tench not a fish for a warm summer day? is it not a bit early for them as the water will still be cold!?

My thinking was the warm settled weather we have had for a week or two might have brought them on the feed?

The lake I was on is very deep ,10 to 12 ft just a rod and a half length out,

so maybe takes longer to warm up compared to a shallow one

I packed up coarse fishing, and took up fly fishing.

Last week I was out looking for pigeon and was passing one of my favorate old tench fishing lakes

(Napton res)

So I called in to have a look, it bought back some good memory's of tench sessions that resulted in 80 to 100lb of tench ( no bull )

Being the impulsive person I am I have just been out to buy a rod and a few bits.

With this fine weather and tomorrows forecast as the warmest day of the year so far I'm off tench fishing

For the 1st time in over 20 yrs 👍

I have a Wedgwood dinner set I need help valuing

It consists of

2 terrines

1 serving dish

1 gravy boat

6 dinner plates

6 side plates

And 6 not sure what they are ? not saucers but saucer size plates

I have attached picture of the pattern that surrounds the set

It all looks to be in perfect condition

I'm off to work now but later I'll try and photograph all the pieces

Weather was perfect, good wind and the pigeon were playing the game for a change.

They were coming into the pattern from all directions .

31 picked knocked feathers out of three that carried on and landed in a tree a field away.

I should have had at least another 20 on top of the 31 some real sitters missed )-:

check and see if its had the ralliart upgrade, early ones put the engines under too much stress and blew the HG

 

take it for a good long run, up hill if possible then quickly check for bubbles in the header tank, if there is any or a weird smell like fish walk away quickly
