Will be on the phone first thing Monday, glad you had a good day's shooting. Got one result late Saturday on my way back to Chelmsford, nice big cock pheasant into the bonnet of the car, quickly dispatched and into the boot, dinner for Wednesday taken care of.

Nothing in my post this week granting my licence, so a letter heading the way of Essex HQ asking a few pertinent questions of their ability to run a department within their policy of granting licence's within 8/10 week's, not the 19 that I have been waiting.

Do not want lining paper, have just removed 4 bags of it from the hall etc, need to flatten the walls for One Coat.

Hi all, Am in the process of decorating and after removing the wallpaper the finish under it is a tad lumpy, someone had painted it and then applied the wallpaper at a later date, and removing the paper has removed portions of paint. The boss wants it painted, so whats the best way of getting the wall into good order other than a complete replaster, taking into account I'm doing 2 x lounge, hallway + stairway. Someone mentioned Jointing Compound, do you roller it on or has it got to be applied by skreed. Many thanks.

Agreed, my wife can be very productive at finding things for me to do that are totally unproductive in my eye's.

Nothing from them as yet, will be sending in a letter to the Chief at HQ if nothing by the 6th Feb asking him to explain why they cannot work to a policy that they have instigated of 8-10 week's as that will be 19 weeks since my application was handed in at HQ. Started decorating the lounge's today, wife like a frog on acid with the wallpaper steamer, everywhere but where you needed it !!

Got my email reply this morning and nothing has changed, it's still on the Supervisors very large table waiting to be signed off, or not as the case may be. Good job I've got other hobbies to keep me busy.

I have been waiting since September for my FAC and 8 weeks since my FEO visit, she stated all ok on the visit and 2-6 weeks should see it through,now at 16 weeks since application, phoned them this week and told its on "The Supervisors" desk, from what I'm reading it's a bloody big desk. The wait will go on no doubt

Hi all, Am new to this scene and waiting for my FAC to come through, 13 week's and counting since I applied, had the home interview and have been window shopping since. Advice please on these two before the bank card gets exhausted by her indoors and her Christmas shopping. Anschutz 1417 G or Weihrauch HW60J in .22lr . Scopes, Am using a Hawke 3-12x50 AO IR on my AirArms TX200 and am very pleased with it, any reason to spend any more than what that cost me. Moderator, SAK seem to be dog's from what I read, so again any advance on those for the same sort of money. Many thanks in advance.
