  1. also sad to think that where once craftsman had put their hearts in souls into making arguably one of the finest shotguns made for the money, there now is some crappy golf course ...very sad
  2. cheers guys for the help its nice to to know as much as you can about your guns. being the last of the 101s were they built using cnc machines or where there Japaneses craftsman at the controls of the lathes etc also the wood is gorgeous for something of that price has wood quality just dropped due to mass production ?? i did hear due the the factory finishing production the fitted what ever stocks they had to hand so people ended up getting higher grade wood for what they paid for is there any truth in this or ??

  15. HI all a i am wondering if my classic double trap 101 would be cleared for steel shot i know i need to get some open chokes in for steel shot but i was just wondering as it states on the bottom of the barrel "classic double proof steel" does this mean thats these are ok to use steel or? . just thought better be safe than sorry lol dont want to find my barrels have bulged after some duck shooting next winter haha
  16. haha i grabbed that classic double trap seomone mentionteind on your previous thread pople where ringing for it as we filled the papers out i dont think i will see one like that again left handed winchester ticks all my boxes my first quality gun my last one was the mighty botio a brazilian gun haha did the job and i spose im not doing to bad for a 17 year old on his second gun but i dont think this gun will ever leave my ownsership even if i get other o/u and semis
  17. yep 32" vented multichoke adj comb classic double trap (winchester 101 trap) for £395 from broad way gunroom lol they even gave me a fancy leather certificated holder haha. id allway wanted a winchester but all of them i see are right cast but i saw the left hooker and just went for it as id never see one again
  18. nice i dont suppose this winchester was at broadway if so i am its new master as my sgc has been sent off ( im 17 so just sent it of) i had to get my dad to go take my hard earned pennies and get it while it was there . i really wanted a whinchester for a while now and the first day i started looking again this pops up left hand with adjustable comb i said im getting that and we did ha some things are meant to be plus it fits as if it where made for me . its a beast 32 inch with tightish chokes i got it set up with 3/4 and 1/2 it sounds like a howitzer i love it , i think it will really develope my shooting skills .only one bad point is that the stock has a repaird crack but im not botherd as the glue is stronger than the wood but if i was that botherd i could allways source another stock . somthing tells me that i will never sell this gun ps according the the gunsmith there if it didnt have that repiared crack it be worth over 700
