  1. Hello all. I am looking for some advice if possible? I have finally decided its time to buy some decent ear plugs after years of leaving cheap ones in my pocket as they are either uncomfortable or fiddly to use. My hearing has suffered badly as it turns out they dont do a great job unless they are in your ears. My left ear for some reason is particularly bad and I need to protect what I have left, although my partial deafness is sometimes convenient. I use cans when I occasionally shoot Clay's but the majority of my shooting is either pigeons, walked up or rifle (rimfire and centrefire) I struggle to use cans for this as don't like to be hampered so prefer plug ins. I have a budget of £500ish (birthday pending) and I have been looking at the following 3 brands, CENS, Custom fit guards and finally Vario revolution 4. I am currently favouring the Vario coming in at £474 with Basc discount. So my question is this before I part with my cash, what would you recommend and why? Any advice would be much appreciated. Many thanks Ian
  2. Thank you. I got 1 collar with the Pard that fits one of my scopes, however the Hawke scope for the. 223 is smaller. I did read that you could put tape on to build it up but was unsure if it would be firm enough? Steve is going to drop me a line today regarding a couple of collars so fingers crossed I will be sorted, if not the insulation tape will be out as I'm keen to try it out. Ian
  3. Thank you all for your suggestions. Now chatting with Steve who is helping out.
  4. Hi all. Do any of you have a 42mm collar for fitting a pard 007 onto my scope. Just got my new pard but the collar is too big for my scope. The supplied collar is 45mm. I guess I could put tape on the scope to bulk it up but would prefer to have the right sized one. Many thanks Ian
  5. Thanks Easy Bully, good to hear that you like the scope. I'm looking forward to getting it. This is a replacement for a faulty Photon so just need to find a Pard 007 now, otherwise it's back to old school with my lamp. Atb Ian
  6. Money on it's way. Looking forward to receiving the scope. Many thanks Ian
  7. Hi, I dont normally comment on sales posts if I'm not buying but I just wanted to say that I have an identical gun to this and a matching 20g. They are cracking guns and this is a very capable calibre. Good luck with the sale although you shouldn't need it. All the best Ian
  8. PM sent as got a 2019 boxed nv007 which I'm thinking of selling. Cheers Ian
  9. Thanks Topgun. At the risk of repeating the famous saying “ a bit too far for me” it actually is. All the very best with the sale. Kind Regards Ian.

  13. Thanks MM, sounds like a very good idea as not fussed about big numbers just wanted to get out with my brother and his lad. Just tried to look at the BASC permit scheme but seems their website is not responding.. will have a go tomorrow. Many thanks Ian
  14. Hi all, I am looking to take my brother and Nephew on a duck and or goose flight at some point over the coming season, we are flexible on dates and we are all experienced and insured. I am keen to book something within East Anglia if at all possible as based in Dereham but would be willing to travel a bit further if required. Happy to have either a decoy day or morning/evening flight . Please let me know if you have anything available and the cost, three guns required but could take up to five if that helps. Many Thanks Ian

  21. Thanks Snow White, I regretfully sold a 20g Lincoln basic a few years ago and have regretted it ever since. I'm currently shooting a Rottweil 28g which I believe is virtually identical to the Lincoln? It has the POW grip that I love. Hoping to find a nice 20 or 16 to use on the ducks come the start of the season. Keeping my fingers crossed. cheers Ian
  22. Good evening all, I am on the look out for a Lincoln Jubilee 16g or 20g. Ideally the gun would have 30" plus barrels and would be no more than 6 1/2 lbs. Not sure if this model is fixed or multi choke but would be happy with either. Please let me know if you have one you would be willing to part with. Many thanks Ian
  23. now Collected. Good to meet you Chris, many thanks
  24. Sold to the man above pending collection. Cheers Ian
