Well started my first season late in November with the edwa and have to say as a complete novice if didn't do to bad 2 mallard, 1 pintail and a grey lag in 9 flights a good taster now the learning begins

Hi all as the title says is it ok to shoot steel through and improved mod choke my gun is a al390 silver mallard special edition I will be using size 1 & 3 shot . Any advice gratefully received

Thank you I surprised myself lol Not a lot of water at all there was a bit last weekend but it seems to have receded for now

Well back from the morning flight a few duck about but only two pairs of mallard in range the rest were wide and high but managed to bag a mallard drake with my first shot of the day, but that's al I managed. Also had six skeins of Canada go over but all were just to wide, back out later to see what the night flight will bring
