Working on a roof in a busy village I needed to go, problem was there was nowhere in the garden where I could not be seen. Running away from the garden was a hedge bordering a padock with a bend in it, so off I went out of sight and pee'd on the electric fence. Not a lot of fun getting a belt in the eye of your best friend.

Planning on building a laying pen at the end of the season for 25/30 birds it's going to be on a unused part of a paddock next to woodland. What would be the best size What would be best to put in pen as in cover If all goes to plan how any eggs could I expect Cheers

Thanks for the comments,to explain I haven't put any partridges down I've just aquired several good sized coveys and didn't want to lose them. We have large HLSS headlands round all the fields so would you suggest small top hat feeders or loose feed ?
