  1. Why thank you Flynny appreciate it alot!, Yeah ive spoken to them since said hello etc, i havent even mentioned that the police came, couldnt be bothered re-ignighting it not one to try cause problems, Also within all the hectic ive made a new friend, a older guy a few doors up he's been hunting before and has a little .177 i think, not seen it hes not an active shooter i dont think but seemed to know abit which was kool - he also had some marine ply wood which he sorted me out at a cracking price, its perfect for a back drop nothings getting through it. The HW80 looks nice, does it come in both .22 aswell as 177 ? +1 (could do with the extra exercize) Because i dont mind spending out on an initial gun but dont want more to buy like bottles.. pellets are enough i like to shoot as often as posible! also arent these more powerful then 12lbs? i dont own a FAC .. Just got into this all again. Ta Zetter.. helpfull and speedy as always! Regards, Matt.
  2. is there ever reviews of the law/ petitions to get it higher or removed etc..?
  3. Is there ever a reveiw, is there ever petitions within the airgun/ shooting communitys.. (since i know the opposing will stop at no lengths to try other ways to even stop us shooting with the current 12lbs without a liscense..now going after led pellets i see) Do the gun community ever try get there gun right back in the UK or .. ? So just wondered about that? Regards, Matt.
  4. Yeah that sounds awesome, would like to see what other enthusiasts have spent there hard earned pennys on, and see who got what they paid for and who got the show peices - the x20 is extremely accurate at 10 yards (30feet) but i havent shot it further yet - sunday will be fun - Me and my mate will be going there, where about in hanslope is it btw? Well one good thing about me is i see each gun as a work of art, i will be keeping my previous and the current x20 even if i find a better suited, i dont think i could dislike a gun, ive even got a gun (which is what re-ignited the fire for me) which is in taters old thing.. wood looks like someones custom varnished it .. badly. then drawn on it with a old 5th gen AGS Scope the adjustment wont alow it to be zero'd in but it hits same place and see,s to love any ammo unlike my picky stoeger, i baught it for a quick 40 pound from a mate who needed some money so i thought help a mate also now i have two so a little mate can have a pop, have a little pop on a air rifle, little did i know it would get me back into shooting etc, still not un happy i spent the 40, i think its done what ive paid for, had a little plink Regards, Matt.
  5. ah it seems ive accidently made the same post twice, its being discussed in more detail in the other (sorry my mouse clicks twice sometimes cant figure out why).. Regards, Matt.
  6. Thanks - ive been hearing alot about the HW80 - my next gun im looking to spend between 3-4 hundred no more! where in milton keynes are they located sorry? Regards, Matt.
  7. no ones said gamo, or stoeger are HW the best make then, ive heard alot about daystate on these forums and a few others. Maybe the guys not to great lol ive seen him shoot the wolverine 100 lbs and didnt get any better grouping, Regards, Matt.
  8. perfect Ta bro Regards, Matt. A reliable and trustworthy online store thats likely to sell these and others? i only know of my local and there selection is not the biggest although the best ive ever seen with my own eyes Regards again aha Matt.

  10. this gun is alot like the x20 suppressor for looks.. accept the silencer.. and trigger is black and saftey is at trigger instead of back. not going to replace my x20 - but like the look of the exchangeable barrels! Regards, Matt!

  12. Yeah im not going to lie, that app just confused the living **** out of me, ive shot alot, but ive always done one shot.. seen where it is and adjusted by aim from there ive never gone all technical and also i dont have a clue what it all means, someone would have to be next to me with the app, im not to great in converting text instructions i like to watch listen and and then try myself if im confident in understanding what it is im doing. Thanks though im sure once i get down the shooting range with some more experienced people / shooters im sure it will come in handy ! Regards, Matt.
  13. http://www.donaldson-guns.co.uk/stoeger-a-tac-supressed-outfit-new-22-for-sale.html x20 comes with a silencer
  14. haha bantaaa . erm sweet, well i got my rifle sorted today got it exchanged for another x20 supressed could have been anything but it wasnt working for me, this one is working with me other felt like we was enimies from day one haha oh well! Regards, Matt.
  15. I got it sorted today, speedy helpfull and more then generous @ donaldson and sons, they could have told me to shuve it, but they still run the good old fashioned way of a customers always right - im sure if they where not better men they would have shouted at me and pointed out somthing realy obvious, .. no they listend and gave me a replacement instantly! this is what ive sent them - Dear Donaldsons, Sorry for the massive ball of text you received in my last message, It was done on your sites contact us section - and thanks for your patients with my nooby self. Following my visit today i wanted to praise the excellent service from you guys down at the store. All in all im very pleased now with the stoeger x20, and even more impressed with the speedy resolution by donaldson and sons!! (also the acca pell work alot better in this maybe not in accuracy but they do pack a punch as it say's on the tin!) The pellets do not need as much of a push as the previous although its still a tight fit for some, which as you kindly explained was the stoegers tight barrel, i also have clean holes through the target instead of little bits above it like it was slapping it at an un even angle so thats a + and on top of that the scope protector fits (was having difficulty putting it on as the scope was so close to the barrel). And i could also see glare of the barrel when looking down the scope on the last one, i havent got that with this one! I had this one zero'd in in about 20 shots i can shoot a pellet into the marine ply wood ive got as a back catch and then its that accurate i can shoot the pellet out by placing another by its side forcing the initial pellet to pop out, so again Thank you all at donaldsons. Thank you and best wishes, Regards, Matt. I was having trouble getting any kind of repeat accuracy from the first one, i managed to get a few groupings at first but only from the first bullets as soon as the accu pell went in i had issues and they where suggested to me by the guy in the store, they work ALOT better in the replacement! Regards, Matt repeating my self now
  16. Unfortunatly my areas not the nicest, and the local pubs not going to have any farmers in it more like local **** heads asking for 50p lol!, Will be popping up to hanslop on sunday with a friend and my spare rifle to say hello and get to see the range, know the people, and prefrably sign up! so thats good news and all i wouldnt have known about if it wasnt for the helpfull people on PW forums! . Thats helpfull ta, yeah i can get all of my pellets inside a 10 p peice if im taking my time free hand in which case when it comes to shooting live id also be doing but this is a measley 35 feet unfortunatly untill i go down the rang im not sure what i can hit from longer, But im sure ill get better with alot of practice and patients. Sounds great about getting liscense etc got a while before that happens, why are they not easy to kill on the ground btw?, yeah i didnt think shooting pigeon with ain air rifle out of mid air would work, nor be very safe! - I used to sit in my sisters back garden for hours watching over the chicken pen from about 7-8 to sometimes 3 in the morning it was so painfull the first few times waiting and then seeing going to move the gun to aim up and them scattering, again all free hand that was about 20 yards and i could get clean headshots on them in the dark without a light on the pen it was a light from the house reached about a 3rd down garden but dimley just light the pen enough to see the rats not enough for eyes to show though - I hadent shot since then when i was 17, before that i owned a rat catcher when i was younger, used to shoot i my garden since it was fairly large. Again thanks for all the help mate! Regards, Matt. Oh beleive me, ive seen some aweeesome videos, some americans making me realy jelous sniping from 70-80 yards and getting only say 5-7 inch drop on there pellets ... Larger LBS i take it ? Regards, Matt.
  17. If im honest wouldnt even want to ask, I'd feel cheeky! going to wait till im offered.. if it happens it happens and ill be all the more greatfull! Regards, Matt.
  18. www.donaldson-guns.co.uk/donaldsons-guns.html in fenny milton keynes, they have been more then helpfull/ good so far so i cant see it being a problem but i am waiting on a reply from an email atm! Matt.
  19. fair enough mate, what is the range of a 12lbs air rifle .22 btw roughly ? Regards, matt.
  20. .22 x20 suppressor (having issues with it asked the gun shop for some help either an exchange or for them to fix it), im sure its the entrance to the barrel it catches on the pellets unlike my other air rifle which doesnt have this problem! Regards, Matt.
  21. ta,i have been reading as much as possible each day in my spare time, alot to read up on each speceis etc so will do pal . Didnt know if there was any other places other then woodland like ferral pigeons come in i just wondered if wood pigeon did, maybe on private buildings causing a mess and a problem for health and saftey i wouldnt know im very new hence me asking about it all, Would anyone know of people in milton keynes who hunt pigeon without shotguns to get some tips or isit best to forget the idea of this untill im licensed up with a shotgun and permissions in the future ? Regards, Matt.
  22. must have missed this, sorry bro! - The quarterly thing sounds good!- Yeah i dont understand bullet drop on paper but i feel etc at ranges im good with judging range and drops - although saying that i could do with learning all the stuff in the second picture that looks realy alien to me im not going to act like i know what it all means ive just shot alot over time with air guns so im good at judging distances etc well i think im not to bad haha obviously not nearly as good as half the people on pwn, its shooting at 10 yards, 3 targets lined up next to eachother, far left target i get groupings of 10 in a 10 p peice i can completely remove the 5 and 6 from withini a SMK target, but then a target just right its slightly off and then right one more and its even more off, and its same distance, same pellets, same gun, im even adjusting my seating to get in the same position, i just cant figure it out its realy odd! Regards, Matt.
  23. Thanks for that Kyska, people have said but not realy stressed it that much, does make sence though, so ill get it within the week/ fortnight latest and use the time im waiting to try get some permissions and learn some more and practice need to learn about the rifle i need to shoot round some more experienced people to learn, cause everytime somthing happens ive only got my imagination etc to confirm it, like with shooting from down to up my gun seems to suddenly become of target and its only 10 yards so i didnt think it was bullet drop or w.e so much to learn!! Regards, Matt.
