    Hi Guys, DRIVEN HUNT / MONTERIA IN SOUTH OF FRANCE: Wild boars, Red deer, Fallow deer and Mouflon ESTATE: 1 hour from Montpellier Airport – 2h30 from Toulouse Airport – 1 200 hectares (fenced) DATES: 8 and 22 March – 5 and 19 April – 10 Mai PRICE: ONLY 450 euros / gun (less than 350 pounds) with typical French breakfast and meal. OTHER INFORMATION: Accommodation available nearby and French hunting licence mandatory (100 euros) The line usually counts 20 – 25 guns for an expected bag of 40 animals (70% of wild boars). 1st drive: quota of 3 animals / gun maximum 2nd drive: unlimited This is a really nice estate. The biggest I know with over 1 200 hectares fenced. The place is full of boars and other animals. 2 or 3 trophy animals are taken on each hunting day. Pick a date; it’s going to be fun!! For a group of 8 (or less) ... 3 shooting days - 3 nights ALL INCLUDED ! - 1 driven ducks day (bag limit 200 ducks) - 2 driven wild boar days (bag limit 20 pigs - no size limit) - 3 nights accommodation in Hunting lodge - full boar - double bed rooms - French licences - All transport (from / to airport) - Gun / Riffle renting if necessary ... 2 990 euros / guns (based on 8 guns) This package is also available with 300 ducks / 30 pigs and 400 ducks / 40 pigs (POA).     Hi Guys, We are now taking bookings for our roe buck stalking season in France (south west near Toulouse). We offer tailor made packages to suit any requirement. Our trips normally consist in 2 to 4 hunting days for 2 to 4 riffles. We run a fixed price policy on the trophy so there is no bad suprise ! Hunting day : 200 euros (2 outings with transport provided and hunting guide) Trophy fee : 350 euros (fixed price no matter the size of the trophy) French Licence : 100 euros Season : 1st June untill September Options : catfish fishing, quail shooting over pointers, wild boar stalking (park or open range) Nice accommodation, great food and wines ... we can also arrange some visits (vineyard, wine testing ....).     Hello HDAV, Thanks for your post. Catamong answered for me and was totally right. I am based in Toulouse, but our estate is near Caracassonne. You don't need to speak French to get the licence. You just need to get a temporary licence online (3 or 9 days). There is no need to pass any exam. Ryan Air doesn't carry guns sadly. You can hire shotgun / riffle here. Shotguns and slugs will do the job perfectly. Riffle : 270, 300, 9.3X62 ... Hope this helps, Pierre

    Hi Michaeli, The boar / meat belong to the hunter. After our driven hunts we share the meat between the guns. The trophy is yours as well. If you drive from the UK you can take the meat back home no problem ... different story with the plane ! We always cook meat boar on the estate for our guests so they can taste it if they don't get a chance to take the meat back home. Hope that answer your question. Pierre

    Hi Flynny, Thanks for your post ! No it's 7900 / group. What's included ? Full board accommodation and a bag up to 10 wild boars. Party size : from 3 to 8 guests. So for instance, price will be 1 130 euros / gun based on a party of 7 guns. We offer tailor made packages to suit each guests requirement ! We recommend a 2 hunting days - 3 nights package ... hunting lodge on the estate with good food and fine wines ! We run our "10 boars back to back days" every month. Price / group (3 to 8) is only 7 900 euros !     Hey moor Man, Thanks for your post. We normally never lost a beast because we don't shoot if we know we won't be able to pick up a animal. Regarding the price in the pyrenees or alpes, representative to trophy mouflon or chamois cost about the same money ... between 1 000 to 1 500 depending on the estates. As we manage the population, we of course need to cull some animals. The cheaper option will be to cull on young mouflon / chamois ... cost around 500 + outing + French Licence (available online). Adul female mouflon can also be found for 500 / 600 euros. Cheers,

    Thanks JDog ... but even if I love pigeon shooting in the UK ... i'm not sure the deal is fair lol ... an adult chamois will cost around 1000 - 1500 euros depending on the age / trophy. But thanks for the offer

    Hi JDog, You certainly need a certain degres of fitness to njoy the hunt. However, it's not that bad. It sometimes takes 1 or 2 hours walking to get to the hunting area but there is no rush to get there. And there it's a lot of scouting. But it's a rewarding hunt for sure !! You feel good and tired after a day !! Good feeling, especially if you got a beast !! But our success rate with clients is almost 100% so ... everybody can do it Pierre

    To be honest, if the hunt is great ... well the meat is not. Well it's not bad with some gravy but not my favorite !

Location : near Toulouse (airport : Toulouse or Carssonne with Ryan Air) Stalking day with guide (2 outings) : 200 euros June to end of August ... only Bucks : 350 euros / beast - fixed price September to end of February ... Male and Female : 250 euros / beast Accommodation : cottage or hotel Airport transport can be arranged, as gun hire Possible combo with : wild boar stalking or driven, catfish fishing ... Ideal group size : 2 to 4 guests Can a run as a familly trip with loads of stuff to visit around NB : last summer, we harvested 4 roe bucks over 600g (see photo) with no extra charged for the hunters. On average, on a 3 days trip, each hunter can expect 3 to 5 bucks. The 2014 reccord was 5 in 1 day for a Spanish guest. More info in MP or ucp.pj@orange.fr Pierre
