Had to share a post on two firsts for me today.Got into position quite early so could gauge the tide coming in.Seemed to be alot of birds about but not the ones i was after,As soon as the light started to show there was quite a few duck moving about but not in range,But then one mallard was heading towards me from the foreshore and i took it down with one shot.that was my first mallard in the bag,had to wait awhile for the next which were about 10 pinks heading towards me,they were quite low due to the wind so shot the first and tried for a second but not on target.so had to do with the one pink which was my first of the season. All in all a great morning.going to iceland tomorrow so wont get another chance till next week hope theres still some about.
