  13. Hi just wondering why some dead pigeons look good on a rotary flying round & some just look terrible, I away use a clean shot one no broken wings or blood on it, but do bigger one work better or not I try to put the legs behind the spreader so look like there flying. I wasted lots of time trying to get it right the other day one looked brilliant the others very sad lol.
  14. That's a good question i shot a field 2 weeks ago pigeons were sitting in this spot feeding all week got 45 well happy went 2 days ago pigeons still doing the same thing but the minute a start shooting they were flying in nearby field but jot near me I only got 8 when I left they all came back to the tree very strange, My Pattern Was Ok as the 8 decoyed Could It Be The Rotary scaring them ?
  15. I got 4 extending washing line poles from tesco cut & bent one end to stick through bottom of decoy, the other 3 can then be attached together they are very strong not to flexible ,lightweight to carry had some fun putting up decoys quite high.
  16. Yes a was looking at the flight line but it was next to the road & they know it they are so confident were to feed. I was going to try more in the middle with my rotary, should have got a flapper from reading on here seem the way to go, Yes a was looking at the flight line but it was next to the road & they know it they are so confident where to feed. 18. Hi all still getting into pigeon shooting been setting up my hide in most hedgerows had a few good days on flight lines but on when on the rape seed i see the pigeons like to feed more happy in middle of fields or near the side of roads where you cannot shoot my question is, do most of you setup where you see them feed in middle of field or try to decoy them to you, which works best Cheers for replies.
