  1. Whoops my poor skim reading whilst at work. Still always worth getting vaccinated however many injections.
  2. MMR is a combined vaccine not three separate injections, it's all in one.
  3. NOW SOLD THANK YOU. For sale is a FAB Defence collapsible stock to fit a Mossberg 500, I recently had this fitted to my 20g 500 Hushpower but after losing my permission it is surplus to requirements. It also comes with the attached cheek raiser that is needed if you are wanting to use a red dot sight. You can find the specs here: http://www.ukmcpro.co.uk/FAB-Defense-Mossberg-500-Tactical-Stock-Equipment/p/4/645683/557703/ As you can see from the pictures here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/h7un0mfn1ehdp5t/AACI-XTIYyFFkdk8vXpb2yjta?dl=0i did take a tiny bit off the stock just so i could get easier access to the slide release button. £60 Posted OVNO
  4. For sale is a Sightmark ultra NV QD red dot right, this is not a chinese special from Amazon, I ordered this from the US as it was able to take the recoil of my shotgun it was mounted on. The sight is in good condition and has seen very little use since I lost my permission (I used it for running/standing rabbits) It mounts to weaver rail fittings and would work really well on a semi auto .22 it has four reticules to choose from. Any questions please feel free to ask more specs here: http://www.sightmark.com/sm14002.html Photos: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/0v7vli1xcwnvldc/AADcm9Uba5woMh1uRraYGno8a?dl=0 £100 Posted comes with original box and bits
  5. Anyone got a single shot adaptor for a hw100 in .177?
  6. Would you be willing to split this at all, would only want the gun and bits not the bottle? I'm not far from you so could pick up.
  7. I think this is realistically how I will go about it, no point telling the letting agent as I cant say they will pass the request on correctly, before you know it, it will no doubt be: he wants to know if can store a tank in the garage or some rubbish. This is a really good point actually it is inherently no different that sticking some shelves up.
  8. Ever had it come up in inspections or when the landlord has come round? I would feel a bit cheeky just going ahead and installing the cabinet without talking to the landlord first but I can also see how that could be shooting myself in the foot if I do.
  9. I would like to get peoples experiences with how they have dealt with installing a cabinet in rented properties. Currently trying to fly the nest so to speak and I don’t get the impression it's something I want to be mentioning when going for viewings with the letting agents? But if not when, as many letting agents control all communication between the tenant and the landlord? Obviously I would be looking to repair the holes left by the cabinet when I leave and cover any sign of it being there but how have people fared with this in the past? Has it been absolutely fine no problems or is it something I need to be asking about early on?
  10. Sanyo eneloops are amazing compared to others, they can be recharged up to 1000 times and keep their charge really well.
  11. Would it be possible/worth my time to apply for an FAC without being a member of a home office approved club? Bit of background I have held a SGC for 2 years, I shoot regularly over land where I control vermin using shotguns and air rifles. I have dabbled with the idea of going for a probationary in the past and even booked one (although unfortunately never attended due to a car accident on the way there.) but I don't see the point it going through all that to only be able to punch holes in paper. What are my chances of getting granted an FAC for something like 22 or 17hmr just for the control of small vermin? (rabbits, pigeons ect.) I have shot rifles in the past on my friends permission so he could vouch for my safety ect. Cheers James
  12. Anyone where were I can get a black synthetic forend for my mossberg 500 20 gauge? Everywhere only seem to have 12g versions!
  13. Not at all I agree with this to some extent and It's one of the reasons why I joined basc last night after looking at all the options. I don't think people who choose not to pay into the likes of BASC are just doing so for a free ride, these people may still be very involved in promoting shooting and supporting it's growth in their own way.
  14. Thanks for that I have PM'd him. It seems like a decision between BASC that more expensive but do all the lobbying and political side of things. Or somewhere like CCC that is just insurance not offering support or advice but for a good chunk cheaper.
  15. I'm looking to sign up to some kind of shooting insurance cover/membership, I know BASC offer this as part of there membership but is it worth the money compared to other insurance companies like the Country Cover Club? I mainly shoot clays and do a fair bit of rough shooting/ pest control on land I have permission to shoot over, using shotguns and air rifles. What do people use and has anyone ever had to claim, would you recommend them?
  16. Hello all, I'm looking for a (preferably uk) stockist of mossberg 500 parts such as aftermarket stocks and forends. Specifically I'm looking for a collapsible stock and synthetic forend (I know the gun will remain above the legal length). I have had a look at brownells and ukmcpro but neither have a collapsible stock with a cheek raiser. Any suggestions of where to look?
  17. As other have said this is most likely a gun fit problem I had the same issue switching from a semi auto to a 525. What may also be worth mentioning is getting a grippy (as in, grips into your shoulder) recoil pad fitted. My 525 had just a plastic butt pad that would move around and slip when firing causing the exact same issue you are getting with a bruised cheek, when I stuck on a slip over recoil pad half of the problem was gone, the other half was down to poor mounting.
  18. Anyone got one of the hushpower detachable moderators they would be willing to sell? It would need all parts as the barrel is only around 16mm so would need the slim fitting.
  19. Thanks to our friendly neighbourhood wabbitbosher, I have a lovely Webley 9mm on the way up to me! GOMX that looks amazing can I ask where you get ammo from? Seems very difficult to find so it may be worth buying a few boxes when I find a good stockist.
  20. Would probably love it Jabb but no FAC I'm afraid, Anschutz's seem to be the nicest looking ones too!
  21. Sorry screwed up using mobile, please remove mods as duplicate.
  22. Anyone got a 9mm garden gun they would be willing to sell in West Yorkshire area? Preferably a bolt action with a extractor but anything considered. Thanks James
  23. Surely the problem is getting a pump that complies with section 2 resections? Do you know of any brands I could look out for? I'm very tempted to put a hushpower moderator on any 9mm I get for the noise.
