the people of this country are fed up with these self serving bloody parasitic bottom feeders.....i can see a time when there might be a Guy Ffalks Mk 2.......or the people of this country will march on parliament and HANG THE BLOODY LOT OF THEM

    You off your meds??

Not a chance of the people in this country doing something like that thankfully.

It doesn't mean folk aren't fed up, and they might well think it's time for a change,  but little ever changes, you just need to think which party will inhibit you less, Labour will probably welcome the boat lads and do the working man no favours, that alone does it for me.

Quite a few of blokes that I know have said that they intend to vote  Reform.   BUT like all Farage based things is Reform a bit of a one trick pony like The Brexit party was. Does this take votes away from the conservatives and let Starmer AND A LOAD OF CORBINITES IN THROUGH 5HE BACK DOOR.??

Well it certainly upset the SNP BLOKE

Labour always did well in Scotland before the SNP, I'd imagine they'll do well again,  but I don't really bother following what goes on in Scotland, or Wales, they seem to rant a lot, moan, govern themselves and achieve nothing 🤷‍♂️

Reform is probably nothing more than a protest vote that like you say takes votes away from another.

The SNP bloke likely knows he'll be getting the boot soon.

The new Scotish leader was saying something about the conservatives having no respecct for Scotland in as much as something to do with School holidays.??.Has someone thought that the snp is going down the pan and the Scottish conservatives might do reasonably well if the working class labour voters might be out on holiday somewhere.

Hardly matters does it, if you know your not around to vote then you register to vote by post 🤷‍♂️

As for working class labour voters is there such a thing 😅😅

I think a new government needs to take action on knife crime rather than worry about leagal guns unless we're talking class war of course 👍

Won't happen, can't be upsetting anyone with a stop and search,  plus you'd need someone to do the S&S

    Surely you’re joking? Brave? 🤣🤣

I was sat watching it thinking what an absolute shambles. Organised a press conference outside in the pouring rain.

I genuinely think someone stitched him up setting it up outside!

I saw saying how stupid it made him look. Now the press are saying the same!

He'd probably have looked worse holding a brolley, but it's like they waited for it to be raining.

  6. A couple of good points made elsewhere,  why has Sunak called the election earlier than needed, vote of no confidence going in, Wimbledon and the Euros on, so voters stay away, a nice big distraction so we miss something else?

    Maybe he's just really confident 🤔 😅😅😅

believe there's no shame in him loosing to probably the best pound for pound fighter ever.

Not sure I can agree with that one, best p4p would have put Furry away.

Reading comments on the fight it seems Furys corner was a joke, getting the wrong advice and bad advice at that level should be unheard of, after Fury got the standing count he should have gone all out to stop the fight.

It really probably is all about a rematch and making more money, and if Fury won the second fight, then there would need to be a third £££££££££££££££

I think its the urine / scent that attracts the others - they use it to follows each other trails dont they - like squirrels

They'll follow the scent path yes, but once you start shooting a good few they'll get the scent of blood as well, watch enough videos and there's always rats dragging other rats away or licking at the blood.

won’t happen again! I had just chucked about fifty in my pocket, thinking that would be enough

😅😅 I've normally got two loaded mags and another 10 in my pocket,  if I get through that lot I've have a great day or a lousy one 😅

I didn't explain that well, it had been emptied in a week from one visit to the next.

Last time out ratting I shot the thick end of forty (HW77k). From where I sat I could count exactly thirty still visible in the yard through the thermal but more and more were emerging and feeding all around the fallen.
I couldn’t carry on shooting because I had run out of ammo, so I picked the thirty and made for bed

I've never managed to run out of pellets yet, at least there's always more in the car, I'd have thought you'd had enough just loading a 77 40 times 😅

The lads who shoot rats do say that the blood attracts other rats, there not picky when it comes to an easy meal.

It is odd that squirrels are edgy about fallen comrades, but rats don’t seem to care one bit.

Sometimes they bother, sometimes they don't,  as soon as they start to react then I'll go and clear the floor.

Was out early yesterday morning after topping the flip top the day before which was empty again

How small are your feeders? I can't imagine a feeder being emptied in a day, they'd be pointless on most of the ground I'm shooting?

Despite getting beaten, his corner were telling him to just cruise through the last round. The charitable view would be that they were drunk.

    Sounds like it.

I've just watched a 2 minute highlights,  Fury showboating,  hands down, messing around Usyk looked all business.

Not good enough, that's a loss that never goes away,  yes they'll make more money from a rematch,  but it's a loss.

I meant to add that if an impatient B. like me can shoot 5, goodness knows how many Hawkeye mice would have shot!😂 These were all mature greys not young and stupid ones. - I went last week and saw nothing.

😅😅😅 there must definitely be something about the Witch Elm then if they were just sitting there getting shot, I'll probably find one once the big feed has finished 🙄

Five down in about 30 mins, which is good going for me (although I could only pick up three- the badgers can have the other two!)

By 9 am, it was just too busy with noisy walkers in groups of five and six and assorted dogs and time above and below, so time to go home for a well earned coffee.

If any of you have witch elm, perhaps it is worth a look.

Well done mate, great morning out, especially as I know where you are!

I read a post this week saying the squirrels were on the Witch Elm, straight on Google, but not sure I have any, at least I've not seen them 👍

Nothing to do with using slugs !!it’s to do with what the ballistics calculator app on the pulsar c50 requires ,Air arms woul not disclose Barrel twist rate /or twist direction R/L apparently confidential for what ever reason ????

Cheers fella,  what a strange attitude from AA, its not something I even consider, but obviously if you were buying FAC then you'll look at such and such and it'll say what the twist rate is.

And any gun shop with a bore scope can tell you in 30 seconds if it's right or left hand twist so it's not like it's a top level government secret??
