I imagine your sorted now but can you not just make a nylon bush and split (cut) it so it fits between the barrel and bipod

Its because of these reasons that I did all the hedges at the property twice a year just to keep the garden tidy and stop them going wild, also helps that your around sometimes having a look.
Our rental always looked tidy but its surprising how tired they can look once there empty, Tenants aren't likely to do a thorough clean as you would in your own property, ok the misses would 😉
My sister used a deposit from a rental to get professional cleaners in after one tenant left and no references brought the place up great.
Your very lucky if you get good tenants just need to realise its about someone else paying for you house pension and have procedure in place with agent to visit regular and keep in top of things

I have been a Tennant and landlord and been lucky with both, it seems strange the place being a tip if she knew you were coming round, when we got our house back as the Tennant was moving on for a longer lease it looked tired as they had been in there three years.
People often don't look after rentals as you would if it was yours, I wouldn't leave it two months before sending a letter, does an agent manage the property as in they contact you if something needs fixing?
Your quite within your rights to ask the agent to have a word about the condition of the property
Good luck

Have to say I like it its good to watch with the kids even if they sugar coat things and get things wrong, for some people country file is probably the only knowledge they have of the country side

I work 3 on 3 off but nights and it works well for me as mentioned you book 4 days holiday and you get 12 or one day either side of your 4 on and you can start to really enjoy it.
The only problem is if you do a lot at weekends I know a few people who really don't like working Saturday's, the other thing is if you normally work a lot of over time at weekends as the shift pattern would stop this other than holiday cover.
We get 39 hrs plus 5 at overtime as basic each week for an average of 44hrs over the week but we get a paid lunch and extra for being on the shift pattern
Hope this helps failing that new year new job

Very nice, we just been stood outside looking at the sky, bit of sunshine 😊

As bazooka says you need a setting ring for the mic, a cheaper option is a telescopic gauge normally in sets that you then measure with an outside micrometer as it just measures across two points

Hi there Doc hol,
Have you tried moving your feeders position I am quite lucky get allsorts of birds coming to my feeders but I have them near cover so the birds can dive into safety when the sparrow hawk turns up, also with the fat balls I break them in half so there easier for the birds to get at the long tailed tits are great to watch on them when a family group turns up.
I have tried the niger seed but nothing touched it, as others have said sunflower hearts general seed mix and occasionally nuts with suet blocks rolls and fat balls

Thanks for the comments, I've heard of dogs not picking woodcock but don't know anything much about snipe, was just happy the pup found them

Very funny, I quite often get two or three pairs in the garden but not for long one pair will always chase the others out
-
I love the idea of coming back as a dog, so long as I get to hunt and have fun 😊
I was asking about the scent because people say and I have read that grouse have a strong scent but partridge have a very subtle one so was just wondering where snipe sit on the scale??
He stopped us last week on the lead went into stealth mode and yep a squirrel 25ft up the tree bloody amazing cant wait to shoot one for him

Its a hard fast very skillful game with a dose of violence thrown in, used to love watching the play offs for the Stanley cup late nights on channel 5, the scrapping doesn't normally last long both players get sent to the penalty box and no one dives, sport like it should be.
When is it on??
