  1. £115 including recorded delivery. or £110 collected. Shooting on the back burner now as playing more golf.
  2. Drop me in America anytime, so many different states with so many different ways of living. Florida is a tourist hotspot, compare it to the lovely British countryside and I'd have to agree but compare it to some parts of London I'd take Florida. Give me the chance to live in some of the beautiful places America has to offer along with their local way of living I'd be out there in a shot.
  3. £120 collected or i'll just lock it in a drawer to gather dust.
  4. Unfortunately not. Fibres appear to be provisionally sold as two interested parties just plastic remaining for now unless I update otherwise.
  5. I do very much agree. I got my first hole in one at 15 but it was off winter mats and for some reason it made it feel a lot less special than it should have done! So a new goal now I’ve started back will be to get a ‘proper hole in one’. The level at which juniors play these days is staggering, and the female side has grown exponantionaly in skill and numbers! Good to see!
  6. He'll be one to keep an eye on when he's younger. Must be great to have an old man who's keen and keen to guide you. The game will feel easy to him when he grows in stature and can trample all over the courses!
  7. I have the above cartridges in both Fibre and Plastic Wad, I need to make some room in my cartridge cupboard for some Game Loads. Around £10 a slab cheaper than current RRP from looking at a few RFD's around me, can knock a bit off if buying several slabs at a time to bring down the price per thou. Collection only however I can meet part way and do travel to South Wales (Rogerstone) via M42 on Tuesdays. Valid SGC on collection. Fibre: £47 a slab Plastic £45 a slab Stored in dry ambient conditions, I have disposed of the slab cardboard boxes however so will have to box these up in other boxes (there still in their individual 25 boxes) obviously and are unopened. Location Nottingham M1 J27 As pictured and also reason for not having the brown slab boxes:
  8. Zen or Martial Arts Or You could take care of Many Bansai Trees, become a drift king on the underground car scene or get involved with the weird world of Anime.
  9. I actually just won a lot of 50 Srixon Z stars on eBay A/Pearl Grade, I do all my practice rounds and practice ground time with those and used Pro V1's that are too tatty for comp use but enter any competitions with brand new Pro V1's (Not sure why). I have a couple of practice bags full of Z Stars and Pro' V1's and old Hogans that I used to love but have to replace them every so often as they become cut and scuffed from the wedges mainly. Will donate one practice bag to the Junior Academy for their practice balls. One bonus though it makes shotgun cartridges feel cheap!
  10. It used to infuriate my old man to, at 16 I borrowed the best part of £2.5k from him which i paid monthly for a whole new set-up to take golf seriously. I paid him back £100 a month from my apprenticeship wage. Literally 7 months or so later I passed my driving test and ended up doing anything and everything except golf, it drove him mad. He wanted to try his best to help me advance as I wanted to try and turn professional by the time I was 18-20 and I just threw the opportunity away. Never has loved me the same since ?
  11. Price Drop £125 collected, can arrange courier if needed.
  12. Very true, when you put it in perspective it's good value for money once you're all set up! Due to my age I still get Intermediate membership for another year or two so it's only £600 a year for me at quite a decent course. I'm having issues with not buying new clubs and accessories now, already bought 2 dozen pro v1's and a new stand bag as I want to carry instead of being dragged around by the electric cart for a bit more exercise. Mrs is going to go spare, she can't understand why I can't stick to one hobby. I'm hoping to get permission on the golf course I could switch one of my allocated clubs for the gun that way and enjoy both hobbies at the same time!
  13. What keen interests and hobbies do people have alongside shooting? It will no doubt pain a lot of you to read this however I’ve caught the bug completely with golf again! I even found myself cleaning my clubs this weekend after cleaning the guns! Ordering more golf balls instead of shooting related items and even looking at becoming a member again after a 2-3 year break! I decided to go to the driving range on Friday and now I can’t stop thinking of golf to the point I’d probably prioritise a round of golf over a day on the pigeons. what is wrong with me?
  14. In fairness the armed police probably had to fill in a risk assessment and notify the HSE before being allowed to return fire.
  15. Very Sad, not a great deal of information available as of yet but not good at all. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-humber-44980034
  16. What a dreadful idea I don't see the point at all, as said it will worsen safety on the roads not to mention the financial loss to business who undertake MOT's. I got planning and building regulations for a family friend to construct a Class 1 MOT Facility adjacent to his existing repair garage, Imagine the impact on someone like that if MOT's were scrapped all that outlay for almost nothing.
  17. Ideally after a decent and robust pocket knife, not something i'm familiar with as I just use a Mora for field dressing. I'm after one for my dad as a gift as his trusty Kershaw pocket knife from the Snap-On man broke after several years of use. Is there a good or better alternative for sub £75ish as i'd like to get one as a gift but don't want to spend too much and stay within the budget. His job means he uses it everyday from cutting open boxes, plastic containers, cable ties to seatbelt. Maybe even get him a semi decent easy to use blade sharpener of some kind as he will wear the blade frequently.
  18. Everybody I meet finds it strange but it's amazing. Crumpets with a dash of butter and pate on, topped off with some decent jam. Out of this world, I'm sure it must be normal somewhere? I had some protein powder I couldn't stomach it was a chocolate one of some kind, used to chuck that in home made chilli's, that was more resourcefulness on my part but it tasted pretty good and thickened it up!
  19. Good point, Not sure how I could address this though, the wall it's fixed to is the only suitable wall to fix to, the other adjacent wall is just an internal stud partition. I suppose I could re-orientate some way but may need to drill new holes which is a pain in the bum.
  20. There nothing fancy mate, just magnetic push activated LED lights. But much needed as it's under stair storage where I don't have a light in the room. I don't have a de-humidifier no but I've had no issues with humidity at all really. I do think it probably helps that the cabinet is raised off the floor and theres two pre-drilled holes in the bottom that it can breath through. This room always seems to remain a constant temperature to as it's central to the house and no adjacent radiators etc. Never cold and never hot, just nice. EDIT: I do have a VP90 sachet in there but nothing more elaborate than that like a proper dehumidifier.
  21. Lovely. That sounds a good plan moving forwards, will just bang 4 x M10's in the ammo safe same as my gun cabinet.
  22. In that case probably going to be easiest to buy a new deposit safe and just bolt that above the gun safe so I can leave the low level one acting as a plinth, can use that for passports etc in that case and the high level one as a dedicated ammo safe. It will be located at a more ideal height then also I suppose.
  23. This is a relief! How many fixings in total? I currently have 2 and due to the depth being circa 30cm its obviously going nowhere. Wasn't sure if common sense prevailed or it was a requirement to have 4 for instance. Thanks
  24. Looking to apply for my Section 1 within the next few months. This is currently my gun cabinet installation as pictured. The Gun Cabinet is bolted through the wall and seated on the deposit box so I didn't have to trim the skirting. The deposit box has 2 x M10 bolts securing it to the Gun cabinet as I didn't want to bolt the deposit safe to the floor. It's going absolutely nowhere the deposit safe is rigid and can't be moved in anyway as obviously is the case with the Gun Cabinet, so i'd like to use the deposit safe as my ammo and bolt safe. Would this suffice for my section 1 or would i likely need to bolt the deposit safe to the floor or provide another couple of bolt fixings? I didn't install this with Section 1 In mind but would like to make any necessary changes prior to my application so it's all in place? - Best case I leave it as it is as it's compliant. - Not so bad case I provide an additional couple of bolt fixings to secure the deposit and gun safe. - Bad Case I have to bolt the deposit safe to the floor and damage or cut out the carpet. - Worse Case I have to trim out the skirting board on top of one of the other options so the deposit safe is also flush to the wall? There is not enough space or leverage to jimmy the safe out and I've filled voids and gaps with the chemical resin stuff that would have to be broken out. Any advice / experience appreciated, I'm mindful cabinet inspection is more stringent for Section 1 and don't want to fall at the first hurdle.
