Hi All I have been a member of BASC over the past year but my shooting insurance cover is due for renewal, does anyone know of any good alternative insurance policies that will cover rough shooting, or should I stick with who I know, I require the usual £5million minimum liability cover and would assume most policies have this. Any suggestions would be helpful Cheers

Hi all Just got me a new semi, the woodwork is bare, I have just stained it all and can`t decide wether to wax polish or oil. Any advice on the pro`s and cons of either would be apreciated. Cheers !

Hi I shoot a franchi harrier o/u would`nt say I was brilliant, tend to aim a couple of feet in front of target with clays although would have though this would apply to s/s also. I`m just going onto pigeons so maybe you could advise me on that !! Mitch

Hi all Ive been doing clays for a long while now but have wanted to go rough shootin for some time, having read all about poeple struggling for months on end trying to get permission to shoot on farm land Iwas not looking forward to it one bit. I typed out a dozen letters with my details and put them in envelopes ready to post thru farmers letterboxes should they not be in and set of at 8.00am. Havin had no success i was beginning to beleive what i`de read I had one letter left and went to a farm not 2 miles from where I live and hey presto, the farmer couldn`t have been more helpful. The first thing he said was dam pigeons are costing me a fortune, ive got 3 miles of land and it`s riddled, fetch your licence and insurance and you`lle get your permission !!! It`s now 11.30am, well worth a mornings work I think CAN`T WAIT Mitch

I am looking for a weekday shooting partner with permission to shoot over farmland, willing to travel up to 1 hour from leeds. I have 2 years clay experience but have yet to learn the ropes for vermin shooting. I have all my own gear and willing to obtain anything I havn`t got so don`t need to borrow.
