  1. Wondering if anyone else feeds their dogs pigeon ? My dog loves it when cooked, however I’m concerned about her consuming lead shot. I do try to throughly check the meat I give her, however can’t always be certain I get every pellet. Thoughts ??
  2. Good afternoon, I have a large amount of whole maize combined, we have the facility to bag into 1 ton tote bags. the only catch is we would need to secure around 29T worth of business to make it worth our while bringing the product into our store! We are located a 5 minute drive from Melton Mowbray. Price to be discussed Many Thanks, Luke
  3. My springer has gone completly off his dry food. I changed the brand a couple of weeks ago because his usual brand wasn't in stock. He wouldn't touch it, so I have now got his usual brand again and he won't touch that either. We have often given him some meat left over from our meals mixed with his biscuits, he used to scoff the lot down but now picks it out and leaves the biscuit. He is obviously hungry because he hoovers anything up dropped in the kitchen. He will also eat any of his treats. I have tried taking his food up if he doesn't eat it and have stopped giving him any other food except his biscuit since Monday morning. I have come to the conclusion that he has been spoilt with being given some of our left overs and has now considered that the norm. It is two days now and I am worried how long I should push to try and get him to take the biscuit, (which he used to enjoy) he is perfectly normal in every other way, accept he may be drinking slightly more. He had his vaccine boosters and health check last Monday and the vet gave him a clean bill of health. I don't think the vaccines are the cause because he was off his biscuits before then. How long would you keep up the biscuit only regime before another visit to the vets. Or can you suggest anything else.
  4. My 12 dogs eat mainly raw chicken including bone, liver, lungs, heart, feet and they do look well on it. I have noticed that when we are out walking that they eat a lot of grass so I may give them some micronised flaked peas to get some greens in their diet. Any thoughts or comments appreciated.
  5. can anyone identify this please?
