Just added my "comments" on the orginal link in "Shooting Wanted" any how here it is again as it seems Ashbiker and Bob have beaten me to it.

Four of us joined Bob and the syndicate yesterday, what a great day! weather held, birds were flying well and a really welcoming and friendly crowd!

I would have no probs recommending this day (if any are left). I think the final count was 74 pheasant, 2 pigeons and 4 or 5 ducks (we had to leave whilst the dogs were picking up from the pond in the dark).

It would seem that I was onme of the guns that managed to draw a "hot" team and peg! I did not have a quite drive! lots of action and finished the day with about 14 pheasants and a duck, luck of the draw right! having said that, it was not the quantity of birds shot that was important (I left a lot that were not sporting and too close), Bob and the team done a great job getting some quality birds over the guns (bitter sweet I am sure for the keeper (Bob)!).

Ashbiker came along for the day and brought a camera aswell as his gun, so I am sure some good photos will not be far behind this thread!

Great to know that 5 ducks were added to the bag (which leaves the total count at 74 pheasants, 2 woodies and 5 ducks-not bad at all)!

The pictures have come out nice and there is one in which it looks like the pellet that has gone right through the pheasant is also captured!

I am unsure if I should post photos with individuals as some may not want their pictures on the internet?

I reckon there were 5 guest guns who joined Bob's syndicate. Fully agree with Nelly T about a great bunch of people and a fantastic day out indeed!

Dave, I fired just over a dozen shots and got two birds, both R to L ones. Have some problems in the L to R's and Bob reckons this is a problem for most right handed shooters. Would try to overcome this by practicing on clays. Any suggestions? Also, may have been giving too much lead!
