unclestuffy
Went out and put a stuffed peregine and a frozen crow on a wall near to where the crows are nesting. Well..... I spent two hours trying to call them in to no avail and then watching the pigeons fly towards me then divert out of range when they spotted Perry (that is the office name for him) then at 4:00 pm about twenty crows flew over and made a real scene, hopping around the trees. One shot sees them flying off for an hour so it was not guns blazing but was well worth the experience.
steve_b_wales
Try putting a crow/jackdaw on a battery operated flapper. They go nuts when they see it. I've had good bags using this method (including using crow decoys & Primos power crow caller) Edited November 8, 2009 by steve_b_wales

malkiserow
I put a pigeon upsidedown with guts opened up with one of my crow deeks "eating" and another standing close by and the 3rd deek on a fence post.... Magic!
henry d
Went out and put a stuffed peregine and a frozen crow on a wall near to where the crows are nesting. Wouldn`t think they are nesting at the moment, are you sure it isn`t just an old nest ??

unclestuffy
Perhaps you have taken my nesting comment at face value: Sorry it is a tree where they roost / sit up during the day and evening whilst hunting over the farmers fields. Definitley crows not rooks. They are not nesting currently (and I am not in Australia) and it is their old nest site. WIll try the battery flapper
