Missus is ecstatic. Edited November 10, 2009 by Colster

Al Downie
I tend to chuck away about 20% of all my pellets because they've been bent in the tin.
cooter
You can repair the skirt sometimes by pushing the head of another pellet in the damaged skirt. If you sort out a small number of good pellets (enough to last you the trip) before you go shooting, and put these in a pellet pouch, or in a pellet tin with the pellets wrapped in kitchen paper, they should remain undamaged, and easy to find. Al Downie
Yep, before I start shooting I sort out some good pellets and put 'em in one of these:
oneshotkiller
Is that your own invention mate ?
Al Downie
No - I think they gave them away with a magazine once, but I had to buy mine from Uttings for £6.50. I really like it because it keeps all the pellets separate, it's easy to use with one hand, doesn't spill, is easy to count shots fired, and it's flat so it tucks into a jacket easily, unlike the big leather ball that I used to use... huntercarbine
Is that your own invention mate ? you can make one by cutting out a section of old mouse mat, and drilling the holes. 4mm for .177 and 5mm for .22 . that way the holes are tight enough to hold the pellets. if you want a leather pellet pouch i'm selling a black large one. £12 delivered. Beardo
the HW100 comes with two mags, so that's 28 shots - plenty for a trip out - i've got a little elastic/neoprene pouch that holds them wrapped around the stock

peek-at
DONT SPEND GOOD MONEY ON SOMETHING TO KEEP YOUR PELLETS IN. have a look in the back of your cupboards and im sure you will find an old plastic canister that ' in the olden days' were used to send off your 35mm photographic films for developing. perfect container for keeping your pellets together in your pockets. Al Downie
If you've got giant sausage fingers like me, those film tubs would be too fiddly I reckon. AND... if your pellets are all still loose inside a tub of any kind, the skirts are just as likely to be damaged as if they're in the original tin. Sqwelchy
Use an old pen, take out the inky tube thingy. Put the pellets in and then screw on the top. HEY PRESTO

Colster
Kinda glad I leave a few laying about. I spotted a pigeon sitting in the tree in the front garden this morning so I sneaked into the bedroom (where the gun cabinet is) got my mates non FAC air rifle out but all the pellets I keep downstairs with my non FAC rifle. Luckily on the bedside table were 3 pellets. Pigeon is now in the freezer.
