welshwarrior
I have just got a QB78 and nearly finished tuning it to about 11.5 FLb. I have not used an air gun for 10 years for hunting expect for the odd tree rat in the garden. So what is the best pellet to use in a gas gun? I got some Bisley Magnums and some old Elley Wasps but works best on Bunnies?
huntercarbine
whichever you can shoot most accurately mate, whether its an £11 tin of jsb or £4 tin of milbro, doesnt matter so long as its accurate and being a .22 all lead pellets will do the job on bunnies. crossman accupells and rws superdomes seem to give good results in all guns. the bisley magnums you have will drop the rabbits stone dead by the way Edited November 15, 2009 by huntercarbine
UKPoacher
I've got a QB78 and have had QB79s too. They all worked well with AA Fields being both accurate and killing. Superdomes are OK and I've used them for ages in HW springers, but you get more smack for your money with AA Fields.
chris o
i like wasps, super domes, acu pells and also logun penatrators are by far the best though for pcp rifles by far. but my favourite all round with out fail and love using are the wasps. I have a QB78 .177, & just finished tweaking it up to 10.8 ft/lbs,.... and she is pellet on pellet at 20 yards with AA Fields (4.52) Pretty good with RWS Superdomes and Hobby as well,... but AA Fields are the best.... Good luck & Good shooting, Fred
