Hey i was looking at some pellets for my air rifle i already use RWS superdome but found these Norica Killer Pellets, it says they are used for high impact trauma.

Just wondering if its worth the £4.50 for 500 of them.

I shoot a BSA Tactical .177 and they come in my calibre so just seeing if any of you guys use or swear by them

Thanks in advance

I was given a few to try out. This is what normal pellets do to Cox Pippins through my .177 HW100S. RWS Hobby on the left, H&N FTT on the right.

This is a Norica Killer through the same gun..

I haven't done any group testing yet, but will be investing in a tin to try out more thoroughly as they might make decent short range ratting pellets.

I got round to ordering a tin of these and they arrived today. I put five through the HW100S at a 5 litre thinners can at 25 metres. They all grouped around 1" diametre, maybe a little more, and about 1.5" to the right of the aim point. I then put three JSB Exacts through the same hole exactly on the crosshairs. I reckoned that the Noricas must be a lot more susceptible to the cross wind so I repeated the test downwind. This time they all grouped around the aim point.

They don't group as tight as the JSBs, three would be touching and the other two a little way off whereas the JSBs form one raggy hole. They are accurate enough for rats & squirrels, but I wouldn't trust them for a head shot on a woodie beyond 20 yds.

The other thing I noticed is that they did not penetrate the can. The JSBs went through one side and Crosman Ultra Heavies went through both sides. All in all, I reckon they are perfect for indoor ratting or barn shooting feral pigeons at <20 yds as they won't cause damage to roofs and walls.

Impressive damage, but how could you do that to a Cox's Pippin? You should have eaten the Pippins and shot something rank like a Golden "Delicious".

Good point. But I have it covered

Cox's Pippins grow wild round here so we gather loads every autumn, meaning that I don't have to buy apples (see my location - Yorkshire). Not tight, just 'careful'. :good:
