claybreaker
if their was 9mm shotgun with a barrel under 24" but a silencer stuck on to increase the length, would it still be classed as section 1 firearm?
Bleeh
As long as the silincer can't be removed, it's an SGC.
Slug
I thought it was illegal full stop to have shorter than 24" Section 1 or not..As well as the minimum overall length
DaveB916
I think if the mod is non removable it becomes part of the barrel, hence the question ? Dave B
Slug
I would still only be a Sec.1 if it held more than 2+
Andy H
Any muzzle brake/flash hider / moderator/silencer/external choke as long as it is not readly removable (soldered brazed or welded) is classed as part of the barrel length

Shuck.
Lovely gun, Hook. The choke looks sweet, looks somewhat like a muzzle brake :( I'd love to find a 3 shot SPAS it would make my whole year.. Only thing I would've done with yours is changed the stock to one of those retractable steel ones, then welded it open That would be amazing Don't think I'd feel comfortable with a dead-on 24".. What if you dropped it on the stock and th dent was 1/4" Would that still be proofed? Still got it?? You don't bust clays with it do ya Edited December 21, 2009 by Shuck.
