Cosd
Does anyone know if we can get longer mounting sticks for Silosock decoys for when the crops are high? I can't see anything on the UKshootwarehouse site......
p-a-s
hope this is of some use.if ever im decoying on sunflower or other tall stubbles i used to slip a decoy on the spike and then ease it down the centre of the stubble stalk so it got a bit more elevation
Jim Sarakun
I have a selection of copper pipes in the back of the Landy, and use the different sizes and lengths to elevate the floaters, flappers, dead birds in cradles etc. etc. Edited January 7, 2010 by Jim Sarakun

activeviii
10p bamboo canes from the garden centre. cut the cane so you have a knot about 5" down, then you just slide the silosock wire into the hole in the cane and it stops on the knot. been doing this on standing crop for a while, also if using shells i just tape the spring sticks to the canes and does job nicely..
