fieldwanderer
yep, only really actually used mine once before I stopped using the truck but you overhear some pretty funny conversations at times if you leave it on for a laugh

I get all my stuff from Knights, http://www.kcb.co.uk . I highly reccomend them, If you buy a rig from them It is inspected and tuned before being sent out so often they work slightly better than rigs from elsewhere. I've always had great service from them, and if you ring them up they are always friendly and extremely knowledgeable.
Sauer
yeah im working in norway jist now and lot of the norwegians even tho they have decent phone signal use them incase yer batterie dies or they are in an area without signal. got thinking bout it and im gonna stick one in my 4x4 coz couple of the bits o permission i have aint good signal but with another unit in the house its close enuff to cover it. used to be into this big when i was teenager, but ive had a look at knights website and spoken to someone else who uses em and say they are top notch to deal with. just bought a new cheap unit but got a couple old uns in the attic....hopefully one of em will still work, and a couple of big homebase units...and an old 30ft silver rod arie l!!! canna see that going on the jeep!!... it used to be a good laff sauer Edited January 16, 2010 by Sauer
