bk
I picked up a .222 M595 SS/Synthetic. Very happy with it but just wonder how you adjust the trigger on them? At the moment it seems a little heavy.
Dunkield
There is an allen screw in the front of the trigger. Downlaod this and go to page 4, picture 9, adjust the scew 1 Out is lighter, in is heavier - don't overdo it. http://www.tikka.fi/pdf/manuals/tikka_master.pdf
bk
Thanks, Seems a solid rifle but the magazine feels cheap being plastic.
Dunkield
They are top rifles, don't worry about the mag it just holds rounds and being plastic makes no difference at all, all the important bits are metal and very well made. bk
Is the factory trigger okay when adjusted down or should I look at aftermarket ones??
Dunkield
You don't need to buy bits for it, it is a Tikka not a Remington All you need is there, if it is a touch too heavy just back it off a bit, mine is 2lbs and is spot on. 6br
I;ve had a tikka 595 deluxe in .222 for 10 years now and it,s been a good accurate rifle with reloaded ammo and 100's of foxes under it's belt, tuned my trigger to 1.1/2 pounds and it breaks like a glass rod.took a bit more work to get my remington 700 .243 vls to that including 2 after market springs . The .222 is supposed to be very accurate without much playing and I do reload so can develop a load for it,
