Red 9R
Now Sold thanks!! immaculate R/Hand Beretta 687 Sporter 12g, 28" Barrels, 5 Chokes and key, The serial number is E6****B and it has a date stamp AP which dates it as made in 1986 . I have used the gun and it shoots really nicely. Although it is a few years old it has had so little use it is still tight! The wood is nice and the scroll work is as you would expect, Cheers Red Edited January 29, 2010 by Red 9R

wacker
That engraving is better than the current silver pigeon, plus you get the replaceable shoulder bites, which is now only found in the premium Beretta's, nice wood! I would have it, but i traded a new silverpigeon for a mint Black action Beretta supersport which was made in the late 80's! Good luck with the sale - someone's going to get a nice gun!

Red 9R
Thanks for the comments peep's Viking, To be honest I am not sure what exact model it is, I had a good look and it only had 687on it (underside in front of the trigger guard), I can PM you the full gun number if that will help? It has what looks like a clumber / heavy setter on one side and woodcock on the other. Nether of us have ever done an RFD transfer but I can't see why not? Will just have to check our local RFD for costs etc. PM if your interested I will give you his number / a call. dodeer
THats not a Silver Pigeon 687 but a 687. THese where made before the "SP" range came out. All the gundealers and clay shots say these handle and were built better than modern versions.
