vole
I think they are made in Brazil who also make Magtech shotguns and rifles. Some Are sold by Mossberg I think I heard too. You can get a Magtech 12g pump for £130 brand new. http://www.lowmillranges.co.uk/images/shop.../shotgun_16.jpg Is it like this? vole
Low Mill Ranges in Cumbria sells them (check the website). He has loads of stuff. I had a shoot with one and it reminded me of an old Manufrance pump I had. Bomb proof. I think it is a bargain for £140 even.

Ive only used a few pumps myself, and not done much with the mossy yet but its great. I dont really think its that practical, i just wanted 1!!! i have started another thread about putting it on fac, back upto 5 shot, check it out Edd

Yeah, that sound like a bargain and would have got one instead of the mossberg if i'd know!! still, mine 's pretty cool and i did buy 2 other guns at the same time so it was a good deal for me
bearhire
are pumps generally more reliable than semis? as in cartridge cycling etc.... mine will fire anything with no hiccups are they all like this?
vole
I got rid of my semi as I did not like chucking the empties around in favour of a pump action. Then again it is unusual for me to shoot more than a handful of cartridges .My most used gun is a single barrel so fast cycling is not an issue for me. You dont have to use certain loads to cycle a pump and they are viewed as being more reliable, thats why the military use them. Bit more recoil than a semi of course . Most folk prefer the semi auto they will tell you but you have to use what suits you.
bearhire
pumps it is ! recoil is part of the fun.
Ozzy Fudd
i have two mossberg pumps (500a and 600at), i dont think the recoil is too bad from them tbh, in fact its better than most guns ive fired anyway if the slugster is the one with the rifle iron sights then theyre ok, but youre right about not being too practical - for starters i reckon the barrels a bit too short, (but thats just me) plus i dont like fixed choke on them. but nice gun all the same
Guest cookoff013
just got a benelli supa dupa nova. i actually love it. i`m quite fast and give some clay shooters a run for there money. at a station at the club, presented with 2 different teal in opposite directions. on report. both were shot at under 5 ft from the trap! . its just getting used to the pump. i can honestly say i`ve never had a double rough shooting, so one shot would do me fine.
