Rizzini
Hi guys, as you know i like to do a bit of shooting when im not in school, I love ferreting( Shooting Over Ferrets) Flighting Duck and many more but have never tried pigeon decoying. I have been invited by a mate that goes beating with me so would like to know, where can i get some decoys and clothing (I would like to buy them brand new) and any other gear i may need. I have estimate £200 to spend on the gear, i dont want to buy the "Top stuff" but i dont want the poo poo stuff either. So if you guys could tell me where to get the gear from, and what stuff i need, and if you would like to, any tips i could do with knowing, Cheers guys RIZZINI
Cranfield
If you want to buy new, check out UKShootWarehouse who advertise on this site, you even get a Pigeon Watch discount there.
stubby
I'll second that, they do some very good "starter deals" magnets/hides/peckers etc you'll probably do ok with the clothing you have for beating/ dark clothing, just get something to keep your hands and face covered

Rizzini
Right, bought these last night ( Links Not Working) But what bought was a 12 pack of low cost pigeon decoys £19.99 and a 3mx1.5m camo net for £28.99 Hopefully will come tomorrow and then i will do a bit of roost shooting on the week end, I will make a trip up to the chosen farm and try and watch the pigeons flight line. Might be harder than i think haha Edited February 3, 2010 by Rizzini

crazyfarmerboy
may be worth your time buying some bouncers or floaters aswell, they seem to be good at drawing birds in
