stevethevanman
I am having a pigeon shooting thing with some friends and was wondering if these are any good? 30g No.6 They are quite cheap per 250, and thought they could be good, but some cartridges are just bad, any of you used them? dodeer
I'd buy the CSP 28g 6.5's personally.

lister1
And me! - Bl##dy good shell. Swingit these are great in my sxs but seemed a bit soft on the longer shots ( perhaps my poor shooting ) but in the summer on stuble when they were decoying well then they are a good shell. i ended up putting csp 28g 6.5 in the first barrel ( 1/2 choke ) and 30 5s gamebore high bird in the second. made for a good combination. i know use rc sipe 32 5s and 6s and my o/u but the will probably be a bit on the pricey side for summer decoying. the just cartridge csp was in the sporting gun magazine, as review for pigeon shooting as a chaeper alternative to the usual pigeon carts. they were original design as a compition load. anyhow not a bad cart. I thought that, for the further birds, I will be using 1/2 and 3/4 choke, so not to concerned about that, I have used 32g 6.5 HB pigeon really good results with that, just hoping that 28g isnt going to effect how well it kills.
