I have an Investarm in my gun cabinet, it`s been in there for five years and that's where its staying because it`s rubbish and I wouldn`t wish it on my worst enemy. They really are awful and mechanism in side is prehistoric and the components are very soft and wear very quickly.

It`s like opening a five bar gate when you push open the top lever, it`s terrible.

They are very rough it has to be said, that's why they are so cheap.

i agree with coach about the cocking mechanism you have to push the lever across about 90deg to the right till it clicks, which actually cocks the gun rather than the actual breaking of the gun cocking it, i used a .410 o/u at a clay ground and it was a pain in the rear if you don't push the lever far enough you think you've cocked it then pull the trigger and just get a click. but i'd still consider it as it'll still serve its purpose mate :good:

Well I must have a good one then although its not a 20 b its the 410 version single barell 9" moderator. Its not as silent as alot of people think but it is a hell of alot quiter with the mod than it is without. Had it for 3 years now paid £30 for it then and have put about 500-600 carts through it with no problems at all.

has anyone used/got one of these. how quiet are they? recomended?

I had a 28 bore and for the money it was fine and shot well, a little stiff to cock but nothing drastic.

I have a 20 bore Hushpower on order, just wish they would stop pushing the delivery date back.
