christy
Hi folks, bit of advice needed please. I am thinking of buying a chrono. The combro 625 looks good value to me. I have a theoben evolution type silencer on my 95, will the chrono fit ok. Also I have an Airwolf which also is not normal barrel width because of the shroud thingy. Reading between the lines I get a hint that the combro may not be a cinch to use-calibrate. What do you think

What do you think  I find it easy to use and fits on any barrel / silencer up to 30mm just have to make sure its straight and level for an accurate reading
Jaminzx7r
I use one, sits on my HW100 mod no problem. Instruction says it will fit between a 12mm and 32mm barrel/silencer. I found the instructions simple enough and it's easy to set it up. You can select between Ft/lbs of Joules, Enter your pellet weight in grains or grams. You can recalibrate it +/-1% by simply increasing or decreasing the calibration setting (you'll obviously need to secondary calibrate it against another know good chrono though). Aligning it is easy too, but if you want to be really sure I think they do an alignment tool to go with it. Only trouble is, there seems to be a bit of a shortage of them at the moment, I've been using my old mans one for a year or so but recently decided to buy one myself but when I was looking about a month ago everywhere was out of stock. I think on the manufacturers website you can play with it virtually online to see how the buttons work etc and you can download the instructions. Dekers
I've had one for about 10 years, I think it was about £30 when I got it. Can be a bit fiddly to get set up just right, but nothing I would lose any sleep over! An invaluable tool for anyone who spends any time in the field (or the range)!
