Fuji Shooter
Trying to keep the gas valve clean in the SX3 - I normally just use an old toothbrush and clean rags but I have noticed that I may need to do a better clean. What would be the best thing to soak it in?
MC
I used Carb cleaner when I did my Beretta. It seemed to strip the crud off well.
mickmep
Carb cleaner would think this is a good recomendation, as its designed not to be too agressive to o rings etc in carbs.

Dodgemball
I can second that. Brake cleaner is what I use on my SX3 and it works great leaving it like new evertime.

It is in a right state after the weekends heavy use so it will be easy to tell what the difference is.
