Oly
OK, I'm selling a couple of guns at the moment, and also buying a couple of guns at the moment. My question is, what is the best way to get the best overall (once everything is bought and sold) price? Is it to part ex gun for gun? And if so do you get the best price against a new or secondhand gun? What level of discount am I likely to see at the BSS? And will these be mostly against new or used guns? Do they do part ex at the BSS?
RC45
Sell your guns on here, and get a discount from the dealer for paying cash.... Phil

al4x
sadly you're almost certainly better off dropping the price until it sells, trade in on guns is bad at the best of times silly question but why are you selling up as surely the .243 is more versatile than the .223 Edited February 23, 2010 by al4x
Oly
What sort of discounts are we likely to see at the BSS? And will they do trade-in? I'm swapping the 243 for 223 as I'm stopping reloading for a few years (whilst littlun' takes up most of my time!) and thought it time for a change too. Paddy Galore!
i doubt they'll want to take p/x at a show, plus you'll be humping a gun around all day long. a chap i knew tried that at the midland game fair and went home with his tail between his legs.
