carrying ammunition in a stock sleeve

i have been asked to make a leather lace up one of these as the customer wants to put it over a comb raiser. How many or you lads carry ammunition stock sleeve what are the pit falls of these i have never used one just wondered what you think would make the best improvements to it

I use one but it has a zip cover over the ammo to help pretect it and also reduce the risk of anything dropping out when it should not. It also allows access to the rear swivel point.

 

Other than that I find then very good, safe way to carry a few rounds and no jingling brass in my pocket as I put empty rounds in the slots as well.

I also have a lace up leather stock sleeve ( made from saddle leather and padded) - i think one with bullet holders on the side would be an excellent bit of kit

Well lads thanks for all the comments here is my interpretation of the product not bad for a mock up model I think I should work

Too be fair it does look a cracking bit of kit, but it will change the gun fit and balance a bit :yay::rolleyes::good: , only marginal and something most field shooters should be able to get used to....I take it you are a Lefty!! :hmm::good::yes::blush:
