Snotty
I just bought a wonderful old leather shotgun case by Pape c/w copy of the Times from 1900. It has his post 1875 trade label, by which time he was hammerless, but someone has cut out for hammers so my pre-1875 Pape fits a treat. But will anyone believe I didn't cut it? Country_est
Loverly setup there snotty, making me jelous. The first hammer gun I ever fired was a Pape, mate Grandad left it to him, had it in my cab for a while till he got his SGC and then he took it back. Always said if I ever got the chace thats what I wopuld like escecially as PApe was one of the few if not only Newcastle gun maker. I was born & bred up north before comming down here in the 80's. Looks like you really are into your old guns there mate, trev
