The cost of living in the UK has risen to the point where alot of people can't afford to live on the wages that are paid.

 

So the answer has been to import labour from countries that have a much lower cost of living. Much of the foreign labour will live in dormitory accommodation so they can send money home.

 

I cant believe I read that.............so your saying that British poeple cant afford to live on the wages being offered, they jump on the benefits system, with the approval of society / government, and then because we have let these people take that attitude we have to import labour to fill the jobs, and thats an acceptable model for our society ?

 

You must be happy then to leave all the workshy on Benefits, and the rest of us will just have to work harder and pay more taxes to keep them in the way they are acustomed - because we couldnt possibly expect anybody to take a low paid job.

 

What happened to Self Respect, Self Esteem and contirbuting to society in general?
