margentic cartridge pick-up

I've seen the stick type magnetic pickups for cartridges but have been told of a larger electromagnet version that looks like a metal detector with an on off switch that picks up hundreds at a time. Does anyone know where I can get one?

they do extendable ones too.. alot more wieldy and easy to carry!!

think they had some at ukshootwarehouse but they mightve been the cheapo ones..

Try a swarf magnet,more powerful than the usual stuff.

The telescopic ones are available on E-Bay and almost any toolstore including Homebase and B &Q.

try a sea sercher magnet from boat shops i pulled a scooter out of canal on one powerful as hell and small

I am disabled, so bending to pick up the odd stray cartridge/case I drop can be difficult sometimes. I couldn't shoot yesterday, but went up to the club anyway. I used it to pick up four empty cartridge cases at once - no real problem. It is only pocket size but the magnet is bigger than the old magnetic pick up you could get in the past - about 2 cm across. i think you would need a bigger one if you were using it to pick up large amounts, but useful though, for £3. (but keep it away from your bank cards - or they could be blank cards!)
