But it isnt,the whole board has to be replaced,unless you know how to repair it.

They do work OK,but the boards appear to do naff all,except cost lots of money when they break.£100 for a new board or £4 for a relay,bit of a no brainer,if it can be made to work.

Because the box & board got broken,I had to replace the lot,£296 +vat.The promatic looks a lot simpler inside the box. Surely all that is needed is a 12v relay,permenantly on,for cocking,the microswitch would turn this off when cocked,then a trigger voltage from the remote would fire it,thus opening the microswitch & going back into cocking mode? I know what I want to do,just not hw to do it.

Laporte control boxes are full of expensive electronics that are probably not needed,has anybody looked into simplifying this?

A flush is usually driven birds from 2 or more traps.If there are two people shooting,the max no of clays in the air will be 4,but it could be 1,2 or 3,so if 3 clays come over & are killed with 3 shots,does the shooter with the live round reload or take the chance the next bird is a single?It should always be possible to hit them all,providing the loading is correct.

You havnt seen the targets. Happens most weeks(not the straights)never noticed it before,always **** on the first one or two stands,mind you,I normally have one hell of a hangover
