turbo33
Being the wrong side of 50, I decided I needed a trolley to get the gear to and from were I am unable to take the truck. ( Government and thier set aside rules :( ) I bough for a fiver an aluminium golf trolley from one of my sons mates. Made up a ladder rack from the remains of an old pop up gazebo that got trashed in the wind. You could easily get some light box section or angle from homebase or B&Q. 10mm by 10mm box will be fine. A few bolts to bolt the ends together and some longer ones to bolt the centre section to the frame of the trolley. A couple of bungees to hold the gear on. Tested it today on a semi fruitless attempt on the rape. ( 2 pigeons ) It worked well, a little bumpy but a small price to pay for not carrying the following: 1 gun 4 hide poles 1 stool Camo nets 150 cartridges ( optimistic!!) flask lunch etc Flapper, battery etc 18 shell decoys, 8 full bodied Bag full of bits, spare chokes, knife,....all the usual bits and pieces. Alanl50
looks pucker mate, last year when I had my shoulder op I used the mother-in-laws shopping trolley, pulling it one armed, worked quite well untill the bottom fell out when my hide poles punctured the base so I got the missus to push everything in a wheel barrow for me, even though I asked her very nicely now she wont do it for me any more (bitch ) something to do with if I can go to work I can carry my ******* stuff Alan

Jesse James
Oi Mark, looks like you stole my idea mate..... How you doing, I bought mine some time ago from here now only £9.99 and the wheels are removable to fold down better. Stuck a shopping basket to the bottom of it to hold the gear in better once the handle is up. http://www.sportsdirect.com/golf/golf-trolleys now I don't use it as i can drive in to all my shoots, must catch up Mark. cheers Lee. covlocks
Got the same idea from a recent posting on here. Had a spare trolly and golf bag in the garage so gave it go the other weekend. Worked a treat - held my 12g and S200, cartidges, and some decoys (never seem to be carrying the right bit of kit) and it worked an absolute treat, 2 rabbits, 1 Canada and six pigeon. A nice couple of hours just wandering around the farm in some decent weather. Its just a pain picking the trolly up and plonking it over the fences - now if I can find an electric version going dead cheap - that really would be a labour saver......
