Im still learning how to use it so pics will get better.

I have been slogging for the past 3 hours through the instruction book  and eventually came up with these pics below.

First pic is of my CZ .223.

Second pic is of the different types of ammo i have tested through it.

Frank,

Looking at the first picture it looks like you now sleep with the CZ!

I know you like it, but that is taking it a bit too far :*)

I am still using the Sako 55grn's in mine, having re-zero'd it with the mod on, (which incidently weighs a bloody ton!)

I am also keeping all the .223 brass as I edge closer to the day when I get into reloading.

I'll do a 'before and after' photo of the rifle sometime, as it becomes the custom gun I said I would never bother building :*)

And this is what it looks like now 'fully loaded' with 8x56 scope, bipod and moderator.

The net result is that it is so front heavy I am now considering buying another stock as the standard one is so light, and is very narrow in the fore-end so doesn't like the bipod too much.

Oh well, I did buy it as a project to stop myself fiddling with the Tikka

It looks good Stuart, groups seem ok. :)

I dont think ill go to the trouble of putting a Mod on mine, its hard to get one put on over here anyhow.

I dont like the idea of it being top heavy, as you said, with the bi-pod, it would be far too heavy for the CZs small stock.

Thanks for that Stuart mate.

By the way, what mounts do you have on it?

They are Millett rings Frank, I had to let the Warnes go as the 56mm lens was just too high for them, pity, I realy liked them. I was tempted to grind the open sight mounting block away so I could have used the Warnes, but resisted

I have been looking at thgis site for stocks, I can't beleive the prices. I like working with wood, so this might be Christmas project in my holidays!
