al4x
as a fox gun they are supposed to be very good and very flat shooting. But it is a lot of punch to be throwing at rabbits, I don't know how many you shoot on an outing but we can do 50plus if we have a good night and that is a lot of rounds from a centrefire
Beardo
Trev was saying it's his main foxing tool, don't think he uses it for rabbits though.
al4x
my FEO was saying how many people seemed to be going for them when I had my last renewal. I'm undecided as yes it fits a gap a bit like the HMR small bullet very flat and fast but isn't deer legal so you are restricted when going up to .223 lets you shoot muntjac as well and .243 lets you shoot the lot. Headshots only it would be as effective as the .204 but at what point does it all become overkill.
2-dead-in-the-air
What you need is a 17hmr rabbits and close up fox. .204 for fox, head shot rabits ( will shoot flat all the way up to your accuracy ) .243 for deer and fox if you need to. and also a .222 is a good flat foxing round.
