Doc Holliday
So what you are saying Doc, is vote with your balls so we get a hung parliament? Ok.... What I'm saying is that the doom mongers are saying that unless you vote Tory then we'll have a hung parliament for 5 years. That will never happen. If there is a hung parliament then it will not last much longer than a year BECAUSE it will leave Westminster in a mess purely because they do not have the intelligence or ability to able to work together. Quite simply they will all fight to gain absolute power. Given that all of the 3 main parties seem unanimous on the EU, I don't see how, by giving away our right to rule ourselves will beneift us. The EU needs us more than we need it. It's about identity, as an individual and as a nation, that I have the belief in this Great nation of ours that gives me the confidence to cast a vote to a party that I believe can make a difference. And my vote will not be going to any of the main 3. That's where having the balls counts in not being afraid to make a decision that may result in a temporary furore where politics is concerned. If you always do what you've always done, then you'll always get what you always got. It's time for real change and to stand up for the UK. John_R
Doc you clearly missed the humour in my post... However, that's the third time now that you have mentioned balls in your posts. Is there something we should know?
Doc Holliday
I guess I may be over compensating for something. Not sure what. May be over petriotism?
bicykillgaz
doc holliday i totally agree mate, although i wouldn't mind if they banned the whole muslim faith never mind burkhas! , i know there are a lot of good muslims about but they don't name and shame the bad ones and let all this hate preaching go on in there mosques so are guilty by association in my mind. i think the world would be far better off without the muslim faith or any other extremists for that matter. our country would be far better off out of europe. and as for the tories they did far worse than labour have done Edited March 25, 2010 by bicykillgaz
poorwullie
tescos will be running the country in 20 years any way. Thought they were already doing that with the assistance of ASDA?
poorwullie
Proper ones, obviously......... Would thoroughly recomend the North East of Scotlands own Press and Journal for a good all round unbiased read covering a wide range of subjects with honest, accurate reporting. After all there is no point in telling lies about the results of the Auchnagatt annual flower show.
MPT1
Cranfield, Quick answer nothing with a red top. The Independent is to me what it says independent. Times, Observer, Gardian, Telegraph are ok but should not be read exclusively. If you read a different one of the above on different days you would read some conflicting views, but would probably get a true picture. They are talking about sharia law having no place in a British society. UKIP want to see Britain standing up for it's rights and not be dictated to by anyone. If people want to practice sharia law then there are countries they can go to that will accommodate them on that. The trouble is, those countries don't give them the benfits and access to healthcare and education that Britain does.
MPT1
I personally would be happy to see the burkha banned in public. On the other hand my belief is that if someone is a Muslim whatever they do in their own home or in their Mosque is their private business. By this I mean practising their religon, not scheming politics. There is one God and he is shared by Jews, Muslims and Christians.
Kent Militia
... although i wouldn't mind if they banned the whole muslim faith never mind burkhas! , i know there are a lot of good muslims about but they don't name and shame the bad ones... I think that it is important to fight any extremists that would want to hurt the UK irrespective of their faith. It is easy to pick on certain ethnicities. However I don't think that banning people from wearing burkhas or practicing thier faith is the right way to go.
Kent Militia
totally agree mate i'm a bit believer in the old 'when in rome' theory if you want to wear burkhas and have sharia law then f-off back home and take the rest with you I think that if you have emigrated to a certain country or community you should behave accordingly and respect those country's laws. However I do think free speech should be respected for ethnic minorities and unles thsoe minorities are doing something which would endanger peopel's lives I think they should be allowed to speak their mind. After all, some people believe people who stand up for England and display the English flags are racists. I am sure none of us want to be told tommorrow that we are racist extremists and we should be arrested for our thoughts.
