hendersons
Good luck I started my first business 6 years ago and my third will be opening next month my advice is always pay hmrc firstas they never wait. Sell on eBay just add the fees on top of the normal price of wat you sell, never let yourself get behind with the paper work and when times are hard never stop believing in what you do just accept it that at times you may not make as much as others but if you work harder when it is quiet you will make the busier periods busier nick
Doc Holliday
Wingnut, congratulations on flying the nest. It always does seem a daunting task as the "safety net" of an employer is no longer there. Ok, it will be hard graft and you won't get holiday pay but hey, you can take the odd days here and there an no one can say jack about it (except maybe the Mrs). Look upon it as a challenge and remember these words - "The Warrior takes everything as a challenge while the oridinary man takes everything as a blessing or a curse." And to reiterate what Dr W said, keep HMRC happy. I'd wish you luck, my friend but as you will soon discover... you will make your own. Fuji Shooter
Well done, just remember before paying anyone pay the VAT man. Get yourself over to the Bull dog bash (if its on this year) I don't think its too expensive for a stand compared to others.
