The threads should be quite a loose fit so the rear bush can align the moderator, is it second hand? and is the bush a nice tight fit on the barrel?
yes i know it should be loose but not this loose :hmm: and no its not s/h but i have had it for 8 years i think the threads on the gun are worn

You could use something like loctite thread lock, but make sure it is one that is designed to be removable. Or I would put a couple of wraps of teflon tape that plumbers use around the threads to pack them out a bit.

PTFE tape on the rifle thread
ill give the ptfe tape a go if i dont post back youll now it didnt go well and am dead :hmm:

sonunds like problem I had, after using it for a while the insides would expand due to the heat build up, I had a gun smith take a thou off the inner baffle and hay presto no more working loose and no need for locktite

Hope this helps.
