robc89
So, my lab has ringworm, we think! Been to the vets numerous times been given a few different things to try and basically its got worse, cutting a long story short i have paid £300 so far and the only way to find out if its is ring worm is to have it tested, then the medication is about £60 for 2days supply due to his 35kg size and i could need up to 2 months supply. So the vets recommendation is to wait it out as the dog will become immune to it in time and we have just got to stop it spreading. So i am having to keep a sock on him to stop him licking it. Looking through books and on internet its pretty obvious it is ring worm. Just wondering has anyone had this with their dog and what did they do? The dog is fine in himself and has more energy than ever. Any advice? Regards Rob

al4x
look it up on the net there are a fair few treatments available and not at that cost, also bear in mind you and family members can catch it from the dog

CharlieT
Try another vet or ask for a prescription which they are obliged to give you. The last bottle of shampoo i bought for a dog to treat ringworm cost less the £15.00.
