Cranfield
I use Hypaflaps on my rotary, but also use dead birds as well. I am not a fan of the heavy full bodied decoys with foam wings on the rotary. I have a rotary with 4ft-6inch long arms and I have one with 6ft long arms. They both work well, but the one with the longer arms can get a bit lively on very windy days.
Cosd
I second Hyperflaps, but will also use real birds as well. I like Hyperflaps as they work well and are very compact and light to transport. And if you do want to use real birds, you can always start with the Hypers. If you've made a magnet and you are quite handy, make yourself telescopic arms, this way they are easy to carry and you can adjust them accordingly on the day. I posted some arms I made a while back in the diy section, I'll see if I can find it.... http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind...;hl=magnet+arms Edited April 12, 2010 by Cosd
activeviii
home made flappers on a pinewood rotary, as soon as i get a couple of fresh birds i swap them over and if need be i put the flappers on the bouncers until i change to dead birds.
